Good day, all.

As ever, we face all manner of changes day to day. Meetings and partings, new lessons learned...

[He trails off briefly.]

I would like to play music with others here sometime. One final hurrah for my old instrument. Even if our tastes and styles differ, it's something I'd like anyway. Whether you sing, play drums, or something else, I would like the chance to share that with others.

In person is ideal, but I am flexible. I know we all have things to be doing; this in itself, I suppose, is a selfish request of mine.

Shadow... it isn't my place to tell you what to do, and naturally you would never listen anyway. Still, I can't understand your perspective; she cares deeply for you, and you reacted so harshly.

But I know you also care about her. Is it not so mutual?

I did it because I care. [No point beating around the bush if the chameleon worked it out.] It's her fault for not listening.

She can be quite insistent. [Espio doesn't hide his fondness despite the words.]

...So you feel that you are... trying to protect her?

That's not important. Go see her.

Shadow, it is important, because she cares about you. Even if you don't choose to tell me, it is my hope you decide to hold a civil conversation with her. ...I will not push, but... [He sighs, and finds he can't finish the sentence. Shadow and Amy are all he has left now, too.]

I will go see her. I promise that.

[It is a bad idea. The distance should be maintained. It will hurt, but she'll eventually move on as long as he stays away.

At least that was the plan until recent developments. Down to just the three of them and an egotistical doctor. A home now lacking people occupying it. Ugh.]

I will deal with her once I've completed my surveillance of Eggman.
