[ He meant to send this privately to Hythlodaeus. But he was so pressed about it that he sent it the wrong way.

The image is a picture of the bounty notice and NOT the actual creature itself. ]

I TOLD you we shouldn't have taken that thing

From its habitat. That is, assuming that it was in its habitat in the first place.

And now what is this abomination? Judging by the rest of these comments and the MANTA board post about this, it would appear that they are related?

[It was not hard at all to put two and two together.]

I think not "taking" it would have been better. How ever did you manage that anyway?

That thing nearly killed us and now an even worse creature is searching for it.

[Can he feel the way she is pinching the bridge of her nose right now?]

What reason could you possibly have?

And I do not suppose your friend was aware of its aggressive tendencies.

I hope your friend learned their lesson from this. And that you do not have to meet whatever that thing is. For your sake.

And so its parents came for you all to take its child back. I'd wondered how that came about. And I thought Cidolfus's knack for picking up strays was a bad habit, at least he is not bringing home murderous axolotl children and horses with hands for feet.

Did you ever figure out what was going on with it anyway? Why it is so aggressive and has those odd limbs?

What? Like some form of aether?

That is not something I have ever heard of.

[Even with the similarities between their worlds that she already is aware of, but now she's curious.]

What exactly does anima do?

nods along

And you think this "spirit" of the strange arms has something to do with this creature's aggression?

Well. It certainly looks like it might have all kinds of this dangerous "anima". I do hope that it finds what it is looking for, and that it is not you. Though I assume that they are not all that way, I will be staying away from all manner of horses for some time.
