[Kalim blinks as he takes this all in. It was rather distracting and amazing, to suddenly be in a new place like this! A whole new world! He could see how exciting and overwhelming it all must have been for poor Ramshackle Dorm housewarden back home, when they had ended up at Night Raven College.
Still! He has to focus!! His wide and red eyes glance to the device, tilting his head as he figures it out. It's not so different from the phones back home, for the most part. Kalim figures it out quickly enough. He shifts and pulls back a little more, a grin appearing as he does, his earrings shifting with the movement.]
Hey, everyone! I'm Kalim! I just got here, so I'm still figuring this place out still, but. Just in case. I figured I should check, since this is probably quicker than running around and asking, but. Anyone else from Night Raven College here? I should probably figure food sooner or later, too, but that might be more difficult, if Jamil isn't here to make anything for me.....
[Or do......literally anything for him. Kalim will be rather hopeless. He looks a little sheepish, even amid the slight worry as he trails off at that. Trying to shake it off. Not what he wants to think about or focus on right now.]
Apparently, I'm a Paladin? Having my magic carpet will mean I can get around easily enough, at least with shorter distances, before I figure which crew to join. That's probably important, huh? So we can find the map to figure getting back home? It's like an adventure! One of the stories I grew up reading and listening to back home! So cool!
[He may be rather more excited than seeming overly concerned about ending up in some strange new world. But. Well, that's Kalim. Not much seems to phase him. At least outwardly. He turns the feed off so he can focus on finding the accommodation he had been told about, not wanting to get too distracted while wandering and exploring this new setting.]
