Greetings to my fellow travelers. I have recently joined your ranks, and am endeavoring to familiarize myself with what would have been unknown in my home realm but is remarkably common here. To that end, I am requesting aid in regards to texts on magical theory and the fundamentals of such. The Conservatory has been helpful in providing archives to sort through, but the sheer breadth of resources leaves me desiring some instruction on where to go for the most optimal education, as well as accounts from those knowledgeable that do not exist in a book's pages.

While magical theory is my primary focus, I would also welcome some direction regarding accounts of flora and fauna as well. They are no less critical to understanding this world, though the fundamentals of their research are not as opaque to me.

I am perfectly ready to negotiate for compensation to those that wish to lend their knowledge in this matter, should they wish.

There are the clear signs of evolution since this world became covered in ocean, along with the magic sinking in, and some that aren't. Still so many mysteries, and I suppose being here means I've the time to help find answers.

Sometimes the sharing of time is well worth the discussions that can come with it- otherwise I tend to ask for assistance in field testing my personal side project.

I've been designing item from my world used to either distract and calm, or simply act as a substitute to take hits, for encounters with wildlife. If that isn't of your interest, I'm sure something can be found.

Both the discussions and assisting you would be perfectly acceptable. Undoubtedly at some point there will be reasons to need to resolve affairs with wildlife, and a peaceful solution at hand would be ideal.

They are items meant to ensure your own safety, and that of the wildlife given that usually any encounter would be due to their territory being walked into. Both buy time, one just more than the other, to escape the encounter.

Encounters by wildlife that wish to attack once their territory is tread upon is something common enough in my world that fortunately I am only improving existing designs to be more suited to the creatures of this world.

Quite a bit of data has already been gathered that I am already working on improved designs. I am also hoping another project will move to a testing phase.

In other words, there will be some choice in the assistance given in turn outside of discussions.

While I hope that the requirement for your items will not be so soon at hand, you already have my attention for whatever projects you will make, and I confess personal curiosity on its own. Beyond formal discussions, should you be in need of a listening ear on the subjects, I might wish to be in the consideration.

I must admit that sometimes a listening ear can do wonders when it comes to working through a problem that may be met. More so when input can be provided as well. In other words it would be much welcomed, even if I do fear sometimes I may get a little ahead of myself whenever the path of a new idea of the solution to a problem is come across.

Please believe me when I say getting ahead of yourself is something I understand. My friends at times must remind me to explain the logic of my thoughts instead of simply presenting them.

It is hard not to when pieces suddenly connect and you can see just what the end of the process may be. Even if all of those pieces may need explaining to others- sometimes that is just as enjoyable once brought back to speak of them. Still, I may consider myself in good company then, shall I?
