Greetings to my fellow travelers. I have recently joined your ranks, and am endeavoring to familiarize myself with what would have been unknown in my home realm but is remarkably common here. To that end, I am requesting aid in regards to texts on magical theory and the fundamentals of such. The Conservatory has been helpful in providing archives to sort through, but the sheer breadth of resources leaves me desiring some instruction on where to go for the most optimal education, as well as accounts from those knowledgeable that do not exist in a book's pages.

While magical theory is my primary focus, I would also welcome some direction regarding accounts of flora and fauna as well. They are no less critical to understanding this world, though the fundamentals of their research are not as opaque to me.

I am perfectly ready to negotiate for compensation to those that wish to lend their knowledge in this matter, should they wish.

Apologies for my delay in following up with you. I've been recruited to help look for solutions to this strange sleeping curse befalling people in the world, and time for that research is cutting down into my time to pursue other avenues. That said, I'm finding the sixth volume in your list more troublesome to locate.

[Alhaitham has indeed been aware of the strange sleeping curse, though he admittedly hadn't concerned himself with it too much since it hasn't affected either him or Kaveh. But he's definitely been keeping an eye on what's happening there, so this message isn't too much of a surprised for him to receive.]

There's a fair chance it might be out of print; the one I obtained had been a second hand copy.

No, I only have some regret that I'll have to leave it unread for now. Right now, I'm looking at anything that speaks of curses of any type, as well as lesser known rituals that could have gone awry. Nothing's directly come up, but I won't stop looking. It can't have come from nothing.

[He's certainly not wrong there. Alhaitham also can't imagine something having come out from nothing, it just doesn't make sense.]

I can make a list of relevant titles on the topic based on what I have right now and send those over to you, if it will be of help.

[Alhaitham has and will never be one to keep information away from others who need it. If anything that is the sort of act he despises deeply. People should never be barred from knowledge that they wish to learn, so long as said knowledge is something that does not harm others.]
