Wanted to leave a quick note and thank you to everyone who helped test my little inventions last month. They should be finalized and ready for official public release next month, but as promised those who helped will receive theirs earlier once ready. Just let me know where to send them off or I can contact you for pick up later.

On that note, I wanted to inquire if anyone had any requests or suggestions as to what I, or any other inventor here, should work on. Whether it's improvements or some alternate version of something that already exists here, or perhaps something similar from your own world.

While I am working with magitech, I am more interested in electrical and mechanical engineering, and I'd rather stay away from weaponry unless it's more for defensive or nonlethal use. So anything of that nature will be more my type.

Well we have plenty of smart minds here, so with enough interest it may happen yet.

But what is this device for the coffee?

[Which means, let's table the airship for now since he has a few threads on that already and talk about that coffee device.]

[ Right now he is going to explain how the coffee machine works. Maybe not entirely the technical aspects since machinery isn't really his thing but enough.

All because I have no idea how the blasted thing should work either. ]

I see, it does sound a bit different than what's available right now. I'd have to take apart one to see how they work before trying to modify it. But since we're already on this, anything different an improvement you can think of since you've used it before?

It would be nice if it could also aid in the brewing of tea.

The key differences would be the time to brew coffee and steeping the tea, and the water temperature I believe. There would also be the different filters and strainers between coffee beans and tea leaves...

So there would need to be different settings that could easily switch between the two different processes.

I can already see that this is giving you plenty of ideas to work with.

For better or worse. Looks like I'll be hitting the shops and various cafes to see what all exists first, see what I can find.

Any other ideas you want to throw at me?

Oh I have plenty of ideas. They aren't likely feasible.
