second ⚡ invention suggestions

Cid here.

Wanted to leave a quick note and thank you to everyone who helped test my little inventions last month. They should be finalized and ready for official public release next month, but as promised those who helped will receive theirs earlier once ready. Just let me know where to send them off or I can contact you for pick up later.

On that note, I wanted to inquire if anyone had any requests or suggestions as to what I, or any other inventor here, should work on. Whether it's improvements or some alternate version of something that already exists here, or perhaps something similar from your own world.

While I am working with magitech, I am more interested in electrical and mechanical engineering, and I'd rather stay away from weaponry unless it's more for defensive or nonlethal use. So anything of that nature will be more my type.

Always appreciated.
Cid

It is said they came from a meteorite that crashed into ancient Paldea, leaving what we know as the Great Crater given how large and deep it is. They grow throughout the crater zone, and are scattered a bit through Paldea as well.

Their energy affects Pokémon, and can be used as a powerful energy source when enough of it is gathered and refined. Some of it is far more general, and much more rare clusters seem to hone in onto a certain Type.

A reason the fire crystals remind me some of Fire Tera Crystals, the energy they produce and it being specialized.

They happen to do so, yes. They naturally grow, more so in areas where it is saturated with their own energy or a solution is made to encourage growth.

Of course most do not work with them in such a way, given I am the only person back home that has researched them to the point I've been able to do so.

[... for the most part, at least. It was Turo's patent that was followed to create Tera Orbs and little else was made with the crystals as far as he knew.]

They may grow more naturally in their respective elements? Given where we are finding fire crystals as the example, of course. I am hoping it can be encouraged, and they are not so finite.

So far the only limits I have noticed is if they are destroyed by improper handling.

I have been tempted to set up experiments to see if it is possible; perhaps I should push them closer to the top of my list. Would you also like to assist?

Most ways seem to come from various jewelers, carefully refining the crystals to be worn as magical charms. It is a good use for them, of course.

I wouldn't mind at all, as I do believe knowledge like this should be shared. Better to have more hands involved of those who know what they are doing, as it furthers the chance of something coming of it. As all the help with testing the barrier is welcome as well.

Excellent, that seems a sound plan to me.
