TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

Yep. I like a good quality coffee, but don't care for milk/sugar/cream.

I don't know what it says about me that the other two were more believable.

The murder case is a little too outlandish and obvious for it to actually be the lie.

Exactly what is considered 'supernatural' to you?

That's a difficult question to answer. Gods and dragons are part of the natural heirarchy.

I suppose ghosts would count?

Once upon a time that was the same for us. But we never saw real manifestations of Gods or Dragons. Not like here.

Izanagi, Izanami, Amaterasu, Susano, Buddha, kami and yokai... most of that is the stuff of religion, folklore, mythology and urban legends. Not tangible things you can study and do experiments with. Not things grounded in reality.

At least, so I thought.

Our Visions are granted to us by the gods...in several of the Seven nations, the Archons are actively among their people. I've heard yokai still roam in Inazuma, and many of our myths are based on fragments of histories that are lost of us, like the tales about the fall of Gurabad.

I wonder if your world is really any less wonderous than any other, or simply more hidden.
