TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE

There have been a lot of riftfarers arriving lately. It seems like there have been more arriving than usual. So many different kinds of people from different kinds of worlds with stories to tell and experiences to give.

A little game has appeared on the shellphone network in hopes of getting to know just a little more about these otherworlders. You might find it on your shellphone as you’re scrolling through one day.

Tell the world two truths and one lie about yourself. And let others try and decipher which of the three is your lie. If they can guess right, perhaps you’ve been able to make a new acquaintance. Or in the least learn more about someone from another walk of life.

A giant bird that we use as our steeds in my world. They're around the size of horses and other similar animals here.

Suppose that's one way to look at it. They're mostly used for riding and pulling, but they make for a fine dish as well.

But don't be fooled, they are quite intelligent and can be quite fierce.

Not a common dish as they are more prized for their use, but aye they can feed quite a number of people. However, they do have a lot of muscle in the meat, so if you're not a fan of dark meat then might not be to one's palate.

Its all the same to me as long as it tastes good but if they are meant to be pets that is kind of messed up to eat them unless you really have to. I would never eat my ole pal Pochita, after all!

The ones we actually ride are not to be eaten if that helps.

And you're in luck, I do have such special powers. That's why #3 is true and not the lie.

Unfortunately it's a power that isn't quite working properly in this world, but to be honest I'd rather I never have to. It's something I'd prefer to do as a last resort.

Yeah that's right. I've got the heart of my pet devil Pochita inside me instead of my regular ole human one after I was cut up into bits and pieces. Miss Makima calls me a hybrid or something and says there ain't a lot of us around.

Well its a machine that you normally would use to cut down trees and stuff with a blade that spins around instead of killing devils chopping them up into pieces. Does that make sense kinda?!?

Well that's a bit different from what I originally imagine. Which was somewhere between these two.
