Anyway, if you know my dad Cid, his birthday is in a couple weeks, on the 7th. I'm still getting my bearings here, but if anyone knows a good place on the neutral island to pack in however many people he knows and is friendly with, we've got a party to plan!

Do not speak a word of this to your father, but I do have him booked for his birthday proper. We've a [date nope, she deletes that real fast after realizing that she typed that without realizing] outing. So the day after would be best.

However. While I am not much of a party planner, if you require funds or assistance in keeping him occupied, then I am able to at least offer that.

Anyway. I see you've had others offer their places up, but my yacht is available as well. It should be large enough to accommodate the dozens of people he's come to know.

However, why not just use the Enterprise for it?

You have a YACHT??? How am I only just now learning about this?! I guess if we cleared out the Enterprise we could, but I don't want mishaps and underclothes on heads, you know?

[She's too young to drink, but she's maybe heard some horror stories here and there.]

Simply keep those who do not belong on the ship from heading below deck. And trust me, I will know if anyone dares to venture where they should not.

[She'd be hanging out up in the crow's nest anyway, and she can see all from up there. Also because what is socializing...]

But yes, my yacht can comfortably fit about two dozen people on its deck for a party, at the very least. For sailing, I wouldn't trust it or a single soul on it to not cause trouble.

I'd keep it under lock and key. Don't want to ruin your boat, I'd feel terrible if someone messed with it.

[She'll get you to wear a pointy party hat Benna, just you wait.]

Hmm, I've gotten a few different ideas for places, but I wonder if we can be one place, then another later, like closer to evening use our ship or yours for evening socializing.

[The wheels are turning in her head already; her dad definitely deserves a giant party!]

That feels a bit unnecessary, does it not? A lot of people to move from one place to another when you can simply undock and go out to sea for the evening.

Maybe. But I haven't seen dad in so long, so I want it to be the biggest party it can be.

Then perhaps you should pay a visit to your father more often. Here, and in Valisthea. I am sure he would appreciate that.

Well you won't be rid of me here, I can promise you that. It's... harder in Valisthea, but that's because of school. [Easier to lie over text and she HATES IT but Cid did ask to keep it a secret— and it's not entirely a lie, just... partially.] But we write letters plenty, and I go back when I can, promise. But because that's all I've been able to do, I want it to be impressive, something he won't forget. I'll do the same for you because it's also been AGES. You deserve something unforgettable too.
