[Here sits Denji with his feet dangling over the dock's edge in Eltrut looking out towards the setting sun with a stoic expression over his features, twiddling his thumbs as he contemplates how best to ask the rather serious question that has been mauling about his brain for the better part of a weeks time now. Being trapped in this newfound world for over a month now has given him time to learn a few things about his situation here and found out a few people who've been brought to Escordvi's shores were dead before their arrival. In his days as a devil hunter for Public Safety he's seen a number of his co-workers, some he would even call friends taken before their time from gruesome deaths he would not wish upon anyone besides his enemies that opposed them anyways. One person in particular he feels slightly responsible for given he was the one who had to put him out of his misery before hurting innocent bystanders in the wake of their horrible transformation under the Gun Devil's influence.

Looking over to his shellphone propped up against a nearby barrel the teenage boy sighs solemnly before he just comes right out and asks the masses for advice and perhaps guidance on how he might go about achieving his new goal of resurrecting his departed friend back from the grave. Despite Aki's desire to rid their world of the terror he unfortunately succumbed to perhaps he could find solace here with a new life void of worry and sorrow. One of the people he could almost call actual 'family', a sort of big brother figure who vouched for him on more than one occasion. He owed it to his colleague to at least try after everything he did for him, giving him money to keep a roof over both he and Power's head after passing away on top of everything else.]

Yo...Denji here. Does anyone know if there is some way to bring people back from the dead here? I know there are relics and magical shit all over the place and thought maybe someone found something that could maybe do that?

[It's nice to finally get someone who isn't questioning his decisions and trying to dissuade him otherwise of his personal quest to resurrect one of the few friends he had back home even if they are posting here anonymously. Especially when Aki did not deserve his untimely demise by his own hands after his body was possessed by the Gun Devil. An optimistic smile forms over his lips as he nods in understanding.]

[Damn! If this person knew someone who was capable of such power surely they must be able to achieve such a feat in this world too! After all Escordvi was filled with magic achieved by tattoos and relics of all sorts surely there has to be a way. Ushering a hand forward he strikes a pose with his signature peace sign, winking confidently as a burst of laughter erupts forth.]

[ From somewhere on the sea on her personal boat, Rem watches the response from her shellphone. ]

Whoever you're trying to bring back, I'm sure they'd want the chance to see you again. A friend doing everything they can to help... It means the world.

[Whoever this is Denji likes their can do attitude, nodding in agreement as he smiles warmly.]

Yeah...I'd hope so. A lot of bastards I've killed had it comin' but...Aki didn't deserve to die.

You care about Aki a lot, and it shows. Would you tell me about them? What was Aki like?

[His hands brace the back of his neck as he thinks where to even begin as a long sigh escapes his parted lips.]

Well at first he was kind of a dick to me but…As time passed by he started to chill out more. He was a great cook who watched out for me and Powy. Aki always wanted to help people and achieve his dream of killin’ the Gun Devil.

[Looking away from the feed as he recollects the horrors that ensued in the wake of said devil’s carnage.]

Until it ended up killin’ him too…

Not that I know how much it took taking down a "Gun Devil", but you speak as if no one else would be able to do it. I'm sorry he's gone. If he lived, it sounds as if he'd be able to do even more incredible things.

And you'd be there with him doing those incredible things, together.

It's probably one of no...Yeah the scariest devil that I know of and could kill millions of people in seconds. I was just lucky it was a fiend and not the real deal when I face off against Aki when his body was taken over by it.

[But that was why it was so difficult to kill it in the first place having taken on the form of one of the closest people in his circle next to Power. They had been a sort of family if you could call it that living under one roof. A subtle nod is given in regards to the sentiment, a smile creeping over the edge of his lips as he recollects all the good times they had together.]

[Well that's a kick in the face to his expectations but he isn't going to let it put a damper on his plans, clenching both his hands tightly into fists as a look of pure determination crosses his features.]

I think so? Returning someone back to life, in my world, means you have to have a grasp on their soul and know where it is.

It still could be possible, but that we're in a different world than our own might make things more difficult.

Damn…That sounds way more complicated than just finding some relic that could bring him back here.

[It's unfortunate the circumstances weren't different and they were in a world where all their natural abilities were available to them but there was simply nothing they could do about that. The only thing to do now was to hope the powers that be could possibly lead to the resurrection of his friend and give him another chance at life here. Sure it wasn't either of their home but it was better than being unjustly killed and his life cut shorter than it already was from that stupid cursed sword on top of everything else. A long sigh escapes him as he shakes his head in dismay though his resolve is unwavering.]

Oh well…I'll try whatever I damn can and won't give up easily.

[ On her end, she smiles. ]
