Video | A serious question~
Type: Video

Subject: Asking the hard hitting questions about resurrecting people from the dead and bringing them here.
Warnings: Mentions of death~
[Here sits Denji with his feet dangling over the dock's edge in Eltrut looking out towards the setting sun with a stoic expression over his features, twiddling his thumbs as he contemplates how best to ask the rather serious question that has been mauling about his brain for the better part of a weeks time now. Being trapped in this newfound world for over a month now has given him time to learn a few things about his situation here and found out a few people who've been brought to Escordvi's shores were dead before their arrival. In his days as a devil hunter for Public Safety he's seen a number of his co-workers, some he would even call friends taken before their time from gruesome deaths he would not wish upon anyone besides his enemies that opposed them anyways. One person in particular he feels slightly responsible for given he was the one who had to put him out of his misery before hurting innocent bystanders in the wake of their horrible transformation under the Gun Devil's influence.
Looking over to his shellphone propped up against a nearby barrel the teenage boy sighs solemnly before he just comes right out and asks the masses for advice and perhaps guidance on how he might go about achieving his new goal of resurrecting his departed friend back from the grave. Despite Aki's desire to rid their world of the terror he unfortunately succumbed to perhaps he could find solace here with a new life void of worry and sorrow. One of the people he could almost call actual 'family', a sort of big brother figure who vouched for him on more than one occasion. He owed it to his colleague to at least try after everything he did for him, giving him money to keep a roof over both he and Power's head after passing away on top of everything else.]
Yo...Denji here. Does anyone know if there is some way to bring people back from the dead here? I know there are relics and magical shit all over the place and thought maybe someone found something that could maybe do that?

[If only they knew how low Denji has sunk to achieve his prior goals be it his debts to the mob or whilst working for Public Safety both. He wasn't exactly the shining example of a model citizen after all even if he acted in the best interests of the general public keeping them safe from the devils who run rampant throughout his home.]
All I want is to find a way to bring him back from the dead.
[A brief pause as he grits his teeth in disdain.]
Aki didn't deserve his fate.
no subject
[More chance of figuring what the situation is? If it is possible or not, either way? To at least know? Sorey isn't sure on whatever result this might end up being but even so. More chance of finding out either way if people know this guy is looking for a way to bring someone back.]
no subject
[Denji nods in agreement to the latter sentiment as he sighs in mild frustration, he knew something as complicated as bringing someone back from the death would not be easy but at the same time wasn't expecting to be met with so much doubt on the subject either. He wanted to know if people had answers but so far he was mostly met with people trying to tell him not to bother even trying in the first place which kind of pissed him off. At least this guy wasn't outright telling him one way or the other but it still wasn't what he was hoping to achieve.]
Yeah...I guess so.
no subject
[Depending on the answer. The other might not like what he hears. Sorey isn't sure how this might work if it is possible. But still. If anyone does know or hear something. At least they know he is looking. Sorey doesn't have any answers for him but. Maybe someone else might. Or might find or figure something that might help.]
no subject
[A pause as he thinks about the latter bit for a split second as he sighs solemnly with a shake of his head averting his gaze from the feed.]
At least you know he's alive.
[Aki wasn't so lucky, knowing full well his own friend was dead forever unless he could change his fate here in Escordvi.]

[Given he last recalls the fighting. It was kind of chaotic. But he has to assume Mikleo and the rest were fine somehow in all that. It has to be. They have to be. He has to keep thinking that, to be as okay as he is about ending up here without them.]
no subject
[Denji has met people from various worlds much different from his own modern world save for the deviation of devils and fiends but this was certainly a new one.]
So ya'll can use water as magic that's pretty cool dude! Devil Hunters back home can do a lot of crazy shit like summon big ass fox demons to eat stuff but never heard of somethin' like that yet.
no subject
[He tilts his head then, wondering on the fox mention. These Devil Hunters. There's so many things that are different between everyone's worlds, their homes. Different places, different times.]
Devil Hunters?
no subject
[Denji sighing nodding his head along with the question returned.]
Yeah that's right. We kill devils and fiends in my world from hurting innocent people.
no subject
[Still. He doesn't need to go into all of that. The point being that at the least he is not the only one from home. Not entirely. He is sure that might be the case for some of the people pulled here. He is still adjusting to not having Mikleo around as it is.]
I'm not sure on the devils but fiends - people, creatures, plants, that were corrupted, back home. I helped deal with.
no subject
[Its a hopeful thought but you never know with this place, someone could show up at any given minute as far he was concerned. Denji nods in understanding at the others latter sentiment.]
Devils can be anything back home to be honest. Tomato plants, giant bats, zombies you name it.
no subject
[Sorey says with a shrug. He supposes it was more obvious for him given the major difference in time points from what he and Eizen last recalled. That might not be so evident if others did not have someone else from back home here to compare with exactly.
Though he does blink and look a bit surprised at that.]
T-tomatoes?
no subject
Well...Here's hoping that might happen too if I can't figure a way out to bring them back in the end.
[A nod of his head is given in regards to the latter sentiment.]
Yeah the tomato devil was pretty weak though. The scarier a devil can be the more powerful they are.
[Which is way the Gun Devil was so strong by comparison to others he' taken out in the past, capable of killing over a million people within the span of a few minutes on multiple occasions.]
no subject
[He isn't sure how this works. So it's hard to say on how they might figure controlling that exactly. He gives a nod though, understanding in some weird sort of way in comparing that sort of thing to the Malevolence he dealt with, the hellions back home.]
I guess it makes sense that the tomatoes would be sort of weaker in comparison to some others?
no subject
[A brutally honest response but it was the truth nonetheless, Denji sighing solemnly with a shake of his head before addressing the latter part of the others response.]
Yeah it was pretty easy to kill compared to the Eternity Devil. That bastard took me three days and nights of hacking and slashing it to bits without sleep I was fuckin' exhausted.
no subject
[Sorey isn't sure if or how this might work, if or how they might be able to help. If they should. But at the same time, he can at least theorize. Can at least listen to the other even if he might not be sure on answers.]
Three days? Yeah, that must have been exhausting.
no subject
[Other than figure out a way to bring his friends back from the dead of course so he wasn't going to dwell on the negatives of the possibilities when he could change their destinies if he found a way himself and no longer had to leave it to chance.]
You're tellin' me...I was so damn hungry!
[Because of course that would be the biggest thing on his mind this is Denji we are talking about.]
no subject
[He can relate but also doesn't want to think about that. Sorey is already trying not to think on back home, what he last recalls. About the others back home. He also isn't really that surprised either though. Of course if one was fighting for that long they would be starving afterwards.]
no subject
[Sighing the teenager nods in understanding. It seems they all have their fair share of problems and difficulties in their own ways.]
Well...Good luck with this Shephard problem man. Time to try and find some of these relics and figure a way out how to make my own dreams come true.
no subject
[Sorey would have after that. He does sometimes still in adjusting to things with being the Shephard. He tilts his head then, wondering when the other mentions:]
Relics? Like ruins and history and that sort of thing? I could help.
no subject
Wait you don't know about the relics here yet man?! They are supposed to be magical things with crazy powers that could maybe help with this.
[When Sorey offers up to aid him the fellow teen smiles sincerely as his left hand flashes his signature peace sign towards the feed.]
Really? Hey thanks man, I'll take all the help I can get!
no subject
[Sorey isn't sure on what to expect from this. But people are aware that he is looking for something. Some way to figure this. Whether or not it works or they do figure a way on controlling that sort of thing. He knows he can't promise anything.]
Feel like this is a good place to wrap this one?
No idea man. But there's gotta be some sort of relic in this place that can help!
Yeah sure! New month and all.
[He just hopes the other will be alright. That people would be checking in on him after this. The loss of his friend. However it happened. Denji still deserves and should get some support. Sorey just isn't sure if he is the one that should reach out so much since he doesn't know Denji as well as some others might that might be closer to him.]
