Curse Research.

More than a few of the riftfarers have arrived in this world with a curse from their own affecting them. If you are one of them, it is requested that you respond with the effects of the curse and how 'detrimental' it is to your daily routine. Your name for further questions and research is also requested. Reply with a 'private filter' if desired.


Aid in Removing the Effects of a Curse

Those among you whom are skilled at destruction are asked to respond to this privately to determine if your skills and power is likely to be effective in destroying a specific manifestation of a curse  that effects a riftfarer and was brought with them into this world.

How extreme would this risk be? I'm sure those who are cursed would want it gone, but they would also have to consider the risk worth taking.

For the one currently attempting to be destroyed, the risk has been deemed acceptable within certain limits. Particularly in what manner of destructive abilities are used in the attempted. Any future experiments in this same direction will be done with the permission of those who volunteer for the experiments and testing.

[If he managed to remove his emotions, he would not have a personal stake in how risking such experiments may be. But he would still be able to weigh the pros and cons of pushing against those limits and if it was a worthwhile risk to take. And without emotions, he would not care if someone decided to take such a risk. He wouldn't care if it was never taken. It would simply be something to do to pass the time while he worked on finding ways to end his own curse without risking his life in the process.]

If what you say is possible, giving them the option at all would mean the world. I hope it goes well for whomever you're trying to help. If it's not too presumptuous, let them know I'm thinking of them, as well as wishing for their pain to end.

And if, one day, they can stand beneath the sun without a curse weighing on them, I hope to see them smile with the freedom it brings.
