[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

Oh that's right you haven't seen my devil form yet have you?

[Grinning chaotically he toys with the pull string which protrudes out his chest, dangling it towards the feed tempted to yank it right here and now. He wouldn't do that though in fear of his doggo getting confused even though that's how they initially bonded, completely unfazed upon seeing his hybrid transformation and merely tilting its head as it stopped dead in its tracks to sniff at his feet curiously. This wasn't the time nor the place for such things and didn't want to potentially ruin a good set of clothes needlessly.]

Yeah when I yank this here string I go wacko mode and become what Makima calls the 'Chainsaw Man'. It's pretty badass lookin' not to mention I slice and dice up devils real fuckin' easy too!

(Their eyes widen at the sight of the pull cord, breath hitching.

They force themself to calm.)

You... turn into chainsaws?

(They knew he was hiding an impressively dangerous power, but really? Fuck. He could have killed them easily in that fight.)

Hell yeah dude!! My arms and face get all wild and I grow chainsaws from them, pretty sick right?!

[A brief pause as he thinks aloud.]

Maybe sometime you'll get to see me in action.

Yeah, that is pretty awesome. Pretty sure that'd make you an alpha class in my world.

(A lot of people here could be considered alpha class, they think.)

...Please don't make an alpha male joke.

[Cue the curious look stricken over his features now.]

What does that even mean?

[Jokes on you Sidestep he doesn't even know what an 'alpha' is since he's an unlearnt punk who barely knows how to spell his own name.]

Powers in my world are classified based on a level system. Alpha is the strongest.

Alpha is also a thing dumb guys who try too hard to be the boss of everything like to call themselves.

[A shit eating toothy grin quickly forms over Denji's face at the proclamation of his strength, visibly flexing his left arm bracing the bicep with his other hand.]

Well I am pretty amazing so that tracks. You just wait until you see my wicked skills in action!

Not sure I want to run into anything dangerous enough to warrant that. A really big tree that's in the way, maybe.

[Crossing his arms unenthusiastically the teenager pursed his lips with a tilt of his head curiously.]

Pssh c'mon dude you can't tell me your only skills are pissing people off beyond belief! Ain't you got any other talents you could use in a fight?

I'm really good at not getting hit unless I want to be.

(They smirk. Remember how good they were at seeing through your tricks and dodging everything, Denji?

It's fine if he underestimates them. They're not gonna tell him their real power.)

Yeah...I guess so but can you shoot lasers out of your eyes or move super fast!? Y'know...something actually useful in a real fight that you could die in?

[Denji still doesn't believe that Sidestep fought fairly in that little duel and would have been torn to shreds if it would have been an actual fight where he wasn't held back by his human limitations.]

I've been doing pretty well without either of those.

Well then show me what you've got lets find us a bounty on the MANTA board and we can both see each others skills that kill!

[Rolling his shoulders back forming fists with both hands as he strikes a pose.]

(They should say no, but fuck you Denji, they aren't backing down from a challenge.)

[A fiendish grin quickly forms over his lips again followed in short by a burst of maniacal laughter. Sidestep had no idea what they were about to get themselves into now, for when Denji transformed into his alter ego there was no further restraints.]

Hell yeah! Time for you to see the real deal when I fight without having to hold back.

Yeah well, I might not have any combat oriented powers but I'm no slouch either.

(Snappish.

They cannot believe they're doing this.)

Well you can put your money where your mouth is...How about we make it interesting?!

[Laughing hysterically as he points towards the feed.]

Whoever kills the bounty first has to buy the other whatever they want to eat after we work up a sweat, huh!?

(Can you hear the smirk in their voice, Denji?

Sidestep is very food motivated.)

[Curling both hands tightly into fists he raises them both in the air with a triumphant yell, the signature devious grin plastered over his features again. This was going to be too easy like taking candy from a baby!]

Now we're talkin'!! Lemme find something badass for us to kill soon and I'll let ya know, alright!?

[A beat as he lets out another roar of laughter clearly amused by the situation as he looks to mop the floor with Sidestep and claim his free meal.]

I want all you can eat chicken wings hope your wallet is as big as your mouth!

Is there anywhere that serves actually good wings here?

(Thoughtful. Skeptical. They've found a good bakery and there are a lot of places that serve good seafood... but the only wings they've had were the contest ones, and those had basically no flavor to them other than spicy.

The question is almost enough to tempt them to let Denji win... nah.)

I'm sure Tifa could whip some up for us, she can cook anything and already makes bomb burgers and shit over at Seventh Heaven!

[If there was anyone who would be able to sate his desire for all you can eat wings it would surely be her there wasn't anything she had cooked up already that wasn't absolutely delicious thus far since joining up with the Avalanche crew.]

Haven't had a good burger in a long time either. (Beef is rare in their world and their favorite place that served burgers had become somewhere they had to avoid.)

Seventh Heaven got good deserts?

(Yes, they really haven't been there yet.)

Uh-huh. They've got a shit ton of deserts! Ice cream, cakes, pie and my favorite milkshakes!

[He was getting hungry just thinking about all this food now.]
