[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

(It's the first name they think of. That it's the name of someone back home who has a dog is probably a part of it, but it does seem appropriate with the gray fur.)

[Denji is sitting at the ocean's edge as the waves come crashing in periodically throwing the stick back into the water whenever his dog companion brings it back to him with the shellphone propped in the sand between his legs. Sorry not sorry for the slight crotch shot as he looks down at the camera with a quizzical glance.]

Steel...I kinda like that! Reminds me of myself since my chainsaws are made outta that too!

Silverfang, huh? I don't know if he's got any fangs though? I guess his teeth are pretty sharp...Found that out when he bit one of those idiot guards on the island right in the nuts it was so funny!

[All smiles as his furry friend waltzed up to join him on the beachfront again after diving into the ocean to retrieve his stick, dropping it on the ground at his feet howling for the boy to throw it again.

Orchid's revelation about his past causes Denji to become deathly silent for a moment as he thinks back to all the good times he shared with Pochita, a bit of a saddened expression splayed over his features now before looking down to the pull cord which protrudes out his chest as he lets out a solemn sigh.]

As much as I love this new doggo...I- I couldn't name him after Pochita.

[A beat as he toys with the end of the pull string as his pet tilts its head in confusion letting out a faint whimper almost as if it understood his master's pain.]

He...gave his life for me. I just don't think it would be right y'know?

[There's a familiar dog he would recognize anywhere and guess who is just as enthused by the sight of another animal that looks strikingly familiar to him? Have a massive doggie face camera now as Denji's unnamed canine's nose sniffs at the camera before the boy pulls him back a bit with a laugh.]

Shit- Relax dude!! Seems like he wants to meet Torgal too by the looks of it!!

[A beat as an utterly amused toothy grin follows with a salute.]

While I don't exactly have any ideas for names, you should bring him by the ship sometime. I make these treats for Eustace's dog pretty often, and I'm sure he'd love them, too.

[Scrunching his nose towards the dog giving him a look knowing full well what he did, devouring the ice cream off the ground in one fell swoop after pouncing on him only getting one lick beforehand. At the mention of the word 'treats' the massive pups tail begins to wag furiously, barking out unceremoniously as it runs around in a circle excitedly.]

Uh oh- Now you've done it, Tifa!! He's never gonna wanna leave the ship now, he's just like me and can eat for days if you let him! Maybe we'll come by later and I can get one of those bomb burgers you always make for me and he can try some of them out?!

Yeah that's right! I've just been straight up chillin' this month after I saved him and a bunch of others with Eustace.

[Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly Denji simply shrugs, smirking sheepishly followed by a hushed bit of laughter. No one ever said he was bright and didn't give the whole naming thing much thought until recently.]
