[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

[Denji simply shrugs his shoulders followed up by a nod of his head in affirmation.]

Besides Makima works for them and I work for her. I don't got much choice 'cause she let me live instead of killing me like the rest of the devils.

I've been living the high life here so far! Eating good, making lots of friends and killing my fair share of shit along the way to make bank!

[A beat as the boy plops himself down unceremoniously on the sandy beach sitting next to his fateful companion, ruffling a hand through the fur atop his head with a coy smile.]

Sure this place doesn't have video games or TV but its way more chill than back home where any day could be my last fighting crazy devils who all want to kill me and take my heart for some reason.

Yeah it was weird as hell looking but definitely one of the easiest devils I've ever had to kill. Still got a lot of money for kicking its ass though!

[Maybe not so much after all the fees the Yakuza boss tacked on like assholes but 70,000 yen was still a decent chunk of change at the end of the day.]

[Denji rubs the back of his neck laughing a bit awkwardly with a nod of his head in agreement.]

Whoops, I guess so! Yeah someone's gotta have a cool name in mind!

[A beat as he quickly realized he's yet to even learn the others name!]

Yo...Uh...What's your name by the way?

[ Is he going to get recognized, or will he not have to suffer yet another comparison to another with his name and profession? ]

[Lucky for you Denji is a unlearnt individual who can barely spell his own name let alone know much of anything to do with history so you've been spared this time around, Sherlock!]

Yo, Sherlock! Name's Denji it's nice to meet ya!

[ Then that just means Sherlock will be judged on his own merit and not his brothers or some other version of Sherlock Holmes. ]

Please give your dog some good pets, especially after he gets his name.

[ Sorry Denji, the dog is ultimately the priority. Just ask Cid when Sherlock addressed Torgal before him. ]

[He isn't exactly known for judging people based on others perceptions of so it's all gravy, Sherlock. A sincere smile crosses Denji's lips followed by a curt nod, looking downward to his faithful canine companion before patting him on the head. The unnamed dog wagging its tag happily standing at his side in a protective fashion.]

He'll sure get lots of them don't worry about that!

[Rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.]

Yeah...Still gotta work on that but I'll let ya know when he gets a real name dude!
