[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

Well I'm at the beach in Eltrut with him right now if you wanna meet up!

[Maybe he was a little over eager but hey she asked when and now was as good a time as any if she needed a break from her gardening!]

[ He isn't the only one over eager. It has been a while since she's seen Denji, and now he has an adorable new friend.

Orchid does turn her shellphone off for the travel - no need for anyone to get vertigo when she uses the Ring of Returning to go to Elah and then it's a short walk to the beach. It's easy to spot his bright hair and large dog. ]

Denji! [ She waves to them as she draws closer with a small basket in hand. ] I'm glad I get to see you today after so long.

[It doesn't take Orchid long before she arrives at the beach in question where he and the to be named pup are playing by the water's edge. When he hears the familiar voice yelling out, Denji quickly turns on the heel of his bare feet as he gives an earnest wave back turning his back from the canine momentarily.]

Yo, Orchid! It's good to see ya! How you be-

[Before he can finish his sentence the dog pounces on him from behind knocking him flat on his face eating a mouthful of sand. Looking up from the ground with a shake of his head the feral teenager grins wide as he laughs out loudly, turning onto his back to ruffle the fur at the pup's face.]

C'mon dude! Gimme a minute and I'll the dang stick for you again, alright!?

[ They both look like they're having so much fun, and then the dog certainly does tackle Denji into the sand from behind. She rushes over the last few feed and crouches down to check on her friend. ]

He's very energetic. Maybe this will help distract him.

[ Orchid reaches into the basket and pulls out a large bone - looks like it belonged to a cow. ]

I wasn't sure what to do with this after using the meat for a soup, but I thought he might like it.

[Gently shoving his newfound companion off him to brush the sand off his person before standing in front of Orchid he smiles warmly with a nod of his head.]

He's stupid energetic we've been here for awhile now and still hasn't slowed down yet!

[When she mentions having a little something for him the pair of them both wait in anticipation until the bone is pulled forth from the contents of the basket. Cal's eyes seem to open wide as the dog prances in place, whimpering a bit before letting out a loud yelp, wagging its tail furiously. Looking down at his pet Denji grins wide in amusement before patting him on the head.]

Seems like he wants it real bad. What do you say boy?

[Slowly closing the gap between himself and Orchid the big dog circles around the girl, jumping up and down in the process as he lets out happy go lucky barks until standing directly in front again, rolling on the sandy beaches below upturning his belly to the sky trying to butter her up.]

[ She smiles at the pair of them. ]

I think he made the perfect pick of friends in you, Denji.

[ The teen is also energetic and cares deeply about people, so Orchid feels that they will be best friends. While it's physically impossible for her to hold the bone out of reach of the very large dog, Orchid can't help but laugh at the adorable antics of the creature. Dogs are certainly very different from the warrior cat that Daqiang has and her experience with other animals is limited. ]

Sit, and you'll have the treat.

[ Seeing as how she can communicate with a lot of living things, she likely doesn't need to use a strong alpha voice to get her words across. ]

[Their similarities were almost staggering with how well their personalities meshed together despite how they initially came into contact, Denji rampaging away as he killed the guardsmen of the rich snob's island which harbored the dogs as their obedient lackies for their own gain as the pup came rushing towards him only to stop dead in its track giving him a curious once over completely unfazed at the barbarism. Clearly his newfound companion was less than enthused to be subjected to such a harsh existence, desiring a better life without strict adherence of servitude. Nodding in agreement to Orchid's sentiment the boy pats his dog on the head, wagging its tail happily as they both stand before the other.]

Yeah we make a pretty good team!

[When the girl tempts his canine with the bone, ushering out the simplistic command he almost instantly complies, a well trained pup given its history as a dutiful guard. Or maybe he was just like Denji in the same vein that he'd do anything for free food, that could certainly be the case as well. Waiting patiently with a wag of its fluffy his tongue hangs out the side of his mouth before licking its lips hungrily. The sight alone causes the teen to grin with delight, a light hearted chuckle quickly following in suit.]

Wow- He really likes you already, Orchid!

[Her charm was infectious after all, Denji having fallen for Orchid's whimsical demeanor right from the get go as well.]
