[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

[Denji simply shrugs with a purse of his lips, seeing no harm in it personally considering the things he's put in his mouth. It hardly could pale in comparison to swallowing a mouthful of throw up, right?]

I've ate way worse things that's for damn sure. But if you think it's a bad call I'll just have to kill something else!

[A beat as he puts forth the question at large.]

So...What do you think I should get for him instead, Tifa?

Hmm. Besides your basic beef bones?

[That is a very good question, and it gives her pause.]

There are these big behemoth like creatures found around some of Eltrut's forests. Their smaller bones actually work really good for this sort of thing, but they're a bit harder to hunt. Thick skin and all that too makes it tough to get to them. But from what I've heard? Their meat is pretty popular around here.

[He's heard about these so called behemoths before having passed through the marketplace of Eltrut frequently scoping out the various foods at its disposal. At the mention of 'thick skin' Denji cannot help but grin deviously followed up by burst of hearty laughter. There was nothing his chainsaws couldn't cut through so surely they would be no match for him, right?]

Thick skin, huh!? Hah- They can't be too tough for the likes of me!

[Hands curling tightly into fists as he looks down towards his canine companion.]

Don't you worry buddy we'll get you some of these bones!

[The unnamed doggy barking out loudly as its tail wags happily at the prospect. Looking back towards the feed he proposes an idea, knowing Tifa to be a veteran fighter herself who can kick ass even if he's never seen it first hand. Admittedly he was curious to see her in action so maybe this was just the excuse he needed to ask for her help!]

Say Tifa...Do you wanna team up and kill one of these things!? We can gives some to Eustace's doggie too!

[Not that he personally knows about their little will they won't they situation they have going on but the other helped him on the venture and thought it only fair to give his counterpart's own canine companion a treat as well!]

[Unfortunately, Tifa doesn't know a thing about Denji's abilities yet, so when he does suggest taking it down together—]

Well, I wouldn't mind, but I hope you've got something sharp to break that hide with. My fists can do a lot, but not that.

[Which is to say that yes, she will, but they're going to need a hell of a lot more than blunt trauma to the head!]

[So he hadn't told her about that little tidbit of information, well this might be a doozy for his counterpart then.]

Oh yeah that's right I didn't tell ya yet have I? You might wanna sit down for this one, Tifa.

[When she seemed to be settled in nicely the boy motions towards the pull string that protrudes out the front of his shirt, toying with the end a bit as he explains the nature of his other half.]

I'm what Makima calls a hybrid...When I yank this I turn into the Chainsaw Devil. It's pretty wild.

Oh... Okay.

[What in the world is it that he wants to tell her that she would need to? So, she finds a place to sit, hopping around the bar and taking a stool. It's quiet enough right now that she doesn't need to worry about anyone coming through, so she'll wait.

And she's heard and seen a lot of crazy things in this world, and her own, but—]

You turn into what?

[That is certainly up there on one of the craziest, and her expression says it all.]

A Chainsaw Devil? ... I can't even begin to imagine what that actually is.

[Denji nods furiously in quick succession at the questioning, toying with the idea of pulling the cord right here and now to show her just what he meant but opted out of it for his dog's sake. Even if his canine friend initially looked upon him in the hybrid form when fighting off the guards of the island which harbored its fellow brother and sisters he didn't want to cause a disturbance amongst others who might be looming on the beach enjoying their time peacefully. Not to mention it could potentially ruin another of his new shirts which was always a pain in the ass.]

Yeah that's right I can rip up just about anything into bits and pieces so that behemoth doesn't stand a chance!

[Kneeling down towards his newfound companion, Denji pets the top of its head grinning fiendishly.]

So whatcha think buddy you excited for me and Tifa to kick some ass and get you a big ass bone!?

[On cue barking loudly at the top of his lungs in excitement before licking the boy's face happily.]

[She does laugh at the dog's reaction.]

Well, he's gonna need 'em. Only feels right that we get some big bones for that big dog. I'll have to give him some cuddles when you bring him by next.

[Because she wants to smooch that dog's beautiful face. Yes she does!!!]

I still have... so many questions, but maybe it'll be better for me to just see for myself...

He looks big and scary but he's soft as hell.

[Kind of like the boy standing before Tifa. You know what they say animals take after their owners and all that jazz! Smiling warmly at the offer for cuddles as he stands back up straight, Denji looks downwards to his canine companion who continues to wag his tail happily.]

You hear that boy? She wants to show you some love when she gets to meet ya! Maybe we can get some ice cream I betcha you'll like that anything Tifa makes is bomb you can trust me on that one!

[Oh, she can definitely see the similarities. Though, Denji looks far from big or scary. Just like the kid she wants to make a million cakes to taste test because he'd never had one before.]

Ice cream... maybe I'll try giving that a shot sometime...

[More a musing to herself than anything, but—]

Anyway! Let's make plans to do that, then. Maybe on a weekday when the bar's not so busy.

[Oh just wait until you see his other half, you haven't seen anything yet, Tifa! Once he pulls that cord which protrudes out his chest and transforms into the devil inside him its a whole different ball game. Until that point though he would continue to be the idiotic teenager with a pitiless stomach and a newfound puppy who took after him in more ways than one.]

Do it, do it!! I'll be your professional taste tester if you need one.

[Nodding furiously in quick succession after she puts forth the idea, Denji gives his counterpart a thumbs up as he grins wide from ear to ear.]

Sounds like a plan to me! You just name the time and place I'll be there hands down!

Will do. I might be an impromptu thing since I never know how busy the bar will be, but I'll give you a head's up anyway! So you'd better be ready.

All good! I know you're busy as hell with Seventh Heaven a lot of the time so whenever works we'll kill this big bad behemoth and get the doggos some bones!

[Flashing his signature peace sign as his newfound canine raised its head to the sky barking loudly in agreement, tail wagging happily with his tongue hanging out the side of his mouth.]

Sounds good to me. Just make sure to leave somewhere to pencil me in soon.

[Tifa waves at the camera.]

And it was nice meeting this fellow, can't wait to meet him in person! But I gotta run. Customers call, as always.
