[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

[Waving her apology off nonchalantly shaking of his head with a solemn sigh, Denji shrugs his shoulders in unison as his gaze averts from the feed momentarily thinking about that which was lost to him at such a tender age. In truth he couldn't care less about losing his father but his mother was a different story, taken before her time due the heart condition he too struggled with before his ticker was replaced with Pochita's own.]

It's all good. My dad was a complete dick head anyways so don't worry about it!

[Almost instantly brushing it off and making a complete one eighty. When she mentions the unnamed canine at his side once again his attitude shifts back to the general norms, a confident smirk growing over his lips as he looks downward to his newfound companion.]

Hey thanks! He's gonna get a great name...eventually.

[A beat.]

Got any ideas, Ann?

[cakebuffet]

[He's really out here just letting it all fly, huh. Ann does give another moment's pause, but if Denji is willing to just blow past it, then she can't really argue, can she? Not for the first time, she's reminded of Ryuji, though he would probably get caught in being angry, first.]

Well, let's see... personality usually plays a pretty big part in naming pets, right? What about Scout?

[She doesn't know this dog well enough yet to do this effectively, but best to start simple.]

Or hey— what kinds of things do you two like to do together?

Scout, huh?

[Looking downward to his canine companion before kneeling at his side, Denji ruffles his pets face on each side of his cheek with a burst of happy laughter.]

Do you like that name boy!?

[It would appear as though his counterpart enjoyed it as his tongue lapped out the side of his mouth before leaning forward to bestow a wet kiss to his left cheek. Sticking out his tongue in reply with a shake of his head looking back to the feed with an earnest grin.]

Seems he likes that one! But who knows he might just enjoy the attention kinda like me.

[Thinking for a moment at her latter questioning stroking his chin deep in thought the most obvious answer came to mind right away as he blurted it out loud.]

We both love to eat!
