[The feed starts off with nothing but Denji's face crowding the camera beaming a toothy grin until he finally props the shellphone up against a nearby tree before stepping back a few paces, flashing his signature peace sign followed by a teasing wink.]

What's up everyone! Been awhile since I've talked on here but I'm back with some sick news!

[Turning away from the camera momentarily the teenager whistles loudly with a wave of his hands in front of his face. A few seconds of silence filled the air until the sound of a dog barking fills the void as the massive Irish wolfhound practically tramples him, quickly knocking the boy off his feet as it begins to lick his face furiously. Ensuing laughter following as he gently pushes his newfound companion off him patting his head, a wholesome smile filling over his features.]

Check out my new doggo! He's fuckin' huge, eh!?

[His furry canine barking on cue at the praise whilst Denji picks up a stick from the ground and throws it into the shallows of ocean, his pet rushing off to retrieve it instantaneously.]

I saved him and a bunch of others from this rich asshole's island that me and Eustace raided awhile ago! The rest are safe and sound at the animal sanctuary if anyone wants one too!

[The wet dog comes back with the stick between its teeth, tail wagging happily before shaking its fur of the excess water causing Denji to throw his hands up defensively.]

Aw c'mon dude!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot the other reason I'm here...What kinda name should I give him? I've just been callin' him doggo for like a month now. If anyone wants to meet him we're at the beach in Eltrut right now or you can hit me up later! Peace out!

Even if I teach others my native language, that means nothing without the culture associated with it. A culture that I know cannot be replicated by mortals no matter how much they try.

I don't want my people to be remembered as some half-hearted, deluded vision of who they actually were.

[Well this just got rather depressing now didn't it? Nodding solemnly in return Denji kind of understands where the other is coming from even if he wholly doesn't make sense of it all.]

That kind of sucks dude...But if you say so.

[An awkward pause as he tries to divert the conversation away to something less bleak, shifting his attention back towards the dog at his side smiling down at the animal scratching under his chin.]

So do you wanna meet him sometime, Emet? He's real good with people!

[ Sorry, kid, Emet is a pretty depressing guy to hang around. ]

--What, the dog?

[ He isn't expecting that invitation and he's visibly thrown off by it. ]

...I don't really know if the creature would enjoy my company.

[nutsornothing]

[It's okay they both come with their fair share of baggage so he doesn't hold it against him. Nodding at the question, Denji smiles sincerely with a burst of hushed laughter shaking his head.]

Of course he will! Bring him a bone or some sort of food and he'll be your new best friend, Emet!

[Much like his master the dog loved shoveling food into his mouth and was a quick way to garner affection from both of them.]

Food, hmm?

[ Appeal to the stomach. A tried and true method. He still hesitates before reluctantly nodding. ]

Fine. But I'm leaving the moment it tries to bite me.

[nutsornothing]

Hell yeah!

[Waving his hands in front of his person, Denji laughs hysterically with a shake of his head. Kneeling down to rub each side of his dog's face before turning his attention back towards the feed.]

He wouldn't hurt a fly isn't that right buddy!? Well...Unless you try and hurt someone then he might bite your nuts like he did saving my life when we first met!

[The dog raising its head high in the sky letting out a loud howl in happiness as Denji pats the side of his torso.]

[ He says it partially as a sigh. It seems he will have to find a moment to pay his due respects to Denji and his dog. And also to collect that CD the boy wants him to work on. ]
