[ The video post starts up to reveal the faces of the Hamada brothers, along with what looks like a red suitcase beside Hiro. Their location isn’t anything special, just somewhere inland on Elrut right now, but the elder brother is smiling anyway. ]

Hello everyone, I’m Tadashi Hamada and this is my younger brother…

[ Tadashi motions to Hiro. The younger brother waves, smiling, and turns his gaze from Tadashi to the phone. ]

I’m Hiro! And this… [He gestures to the suitcase next to him before purposely pulling off a plaster from his knee. His ‘ow’ in instinctive response activates the robot inside, causing Baymax to inflate and turn on, introducing himself with a wave. ]

Hello. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion. I was alerted to the need for medical attention when you said ‘ow’.

You’ll be seeing Baymax around one or both of us often, so we wanted to introduce him and ourselves. I’m also interested in finding out if anyone had a temporary charging solution seeing as how I haven’t come across a power outlet anywhere yet. [ Tadashi holds up the power cord on Baymax’s charging station for anyone who hasn’t seen anything like it before. ]

Yeah, I’m not sure if the technology here is necessarily compatible—at least, not without some adapting or figuring on our part. Baymax is the priority. Even if it would be cool to actually use my handheld, it won’t die on me eventually. Tadashi and I were both pretty good with tech back home, but this might take some adjusting.

[ Hiro says, a puff of air from his sigh shifting his mess of bangs before he raises his hands in reassuring Baymax that he was fine given the robot approaches and wants to check him over. ]

On a scale of one-to-ten…

[ Tadashi chuckles as he moves to end the video recording for the post while Baymax tends to Hiro. ]

Your brother made him? So what did you do for him, then? [Even though the question could be taken as being rude, Gohan doesn't mean anything, and even sounds genuine asking it.]

Umm, besides teaching him how to fistbump, I mean!

[Which is very important!]

[baymaxing]

Yeah. Baymax is Tadashi's. I mean. I might have some ideas, but. Really, it's him. The project he worked on for his nerd school. The fist bump was me, though. I taught him that.

[He can at least admit that much. Without giving too much away. That's innocent enough. Without going into that he programmed Baymax to fight. Made that armour. He hasn't yet figured out how to tell Tadashi.]

Oh... Really? [he was honestly expecting Hiro to have contributed more there.]

What kind of ideas do you have, then?

[baymaxing]

My ideas? Ah, well. Things like um. His scanner. I've improved that so he can scan more people from farther away. Figuring out how to improve his battery. Which, I guess will initially be the main issue here - making sure he can be charged. That sort of thing. Why?

That's neat! But I mean, like...

[How to phrase it... There's a small, thoughtful pause from Gohan.]

You have all these ideas for your brother's invention, and that's super cool! [He thinks Baymax is really neat.] But is there anything you wanna make?

[baymaxing]

Me? Ah, well. I mean. I did make the microbots. That is, these tiny little robots that are powered by this neural transmitter, to do whatever you want them to. To make whatever you want out of them, to shape them. Could be used for a lot of different things. That's what got me accepted into SFIT.

Before, I made stuff like rocket boots for Mochi, our cat. And bots for fighting, for example.

[People have usually been expecting a lot from Hiro, because of his 'big brain' and all. He finished school so young and everything. And coming after Tadashi who made Baymax.]

You made all that, really? That's incredible!

[Gohan's genuinely impressed. Hiro's so young and yet so accomplished...]

You remind me a lot of my friend, Bulma. I don't think there's anything she couldn't invent if she puts her mind to it!

[baymaxing]

Yeah. I just figured, there are a lot of ways that tech could be applied. Travel, construction....all sorts of ways that tech could help people.

[And the idea just came to him, when looking at his fighting bot. But it would hardly be the first time that others commented on Hiro's intellect. His 'big brain' as Tadashi puts it. He has potential. He just has to figure out what to do with that. Without wasting it messing around with illegal activities like bot fighting. Or, gambling and betting on bot fights. Hustling people.]

Yeah? Is she here too?

[latentpower]

No. If she was, she'd probably have our ships flying through the air by sundown.

[Whether that'd be a good thing in a place like this... who knows? Sky pirates sound fun, at least.]

[baymaxing]

Yeah? Well, if she does show up, we might have to meet up. I'm sure she could help me and we could work together on stuff.

[Gang of nerds. But Hiro does seem curious and keen to meet Bulma if she does show up. The idea of being able to fly around would make travel easier. Quicker. Not that he is sure how easy that might be to figure, or how long that might take when working with the tech available here.]
