[Given the field, and edge of a forest just within sight, it could be guessed that Turo was somewhere within Cosmo Conservatory on Eltrut; sitting there in the tall grass as a bit of fog forming could also be seen. Those who remembered his plushie announcement could likely spot both familiar creatures vaguely there and- well.

A lively nest just within the hollow of a fallen tree; the eggs no longer eggs.]

I am happy to announce that there are now several hatched Cloud Hoppers, healthy, with a proud set of parents just as lively and active-

[—and that was a bark, followed by the sound of something loping in and half knocking into Turo from behind, the strange looking dog popping up with paws over his shoulders and panting. Head tipped so one eye was on the shellphone and the light indicating the camera was on. A bright set of feathers behind those ears bobbing a little with all of the movement.]

-and I suppose my new friend wishes to introduce herself. Has anyone here happened to have see a dog like this before?

[As said dog deliberately flopped right into his lap, tail wagging; something perhaps a little odd in how one eye remained focused sharply still on the shellphone.]

A pack of them seem to have been exploring the sanctuary grounds, peacefully at least. She is the only one to have broken off from them. I must admit that some of their markings remind me of a creature from my home region.

It has taken some adjusting to, I must admit. The Pumpkaboos that appeared during the season of Ghoul's Moon were very similar to the pokémon of the same name in my world, of course. Otherwise, the differences of the animals here are clear at least- but still worth studying, given those differences.

[It surprised him how homesick he had been, but all the while he had made a life here.]

It sounds as if there was much that was better taken than left there.

[While he was a Paladin- well. Actions had consequences, and the Paladin higher ups could be -for lack of better words- full of complete shit.]

[Denji understood the love for something so fiercely but his desires in life were far more simple by comparison and some might say nefarious. Good food, friendship and the prospect of sex were all at the top of his list.]

Hell yeah they are those idiots don't deserve to have pups like Cal and his buddies.

[His newfound pet waltzing back over to his side to plop himself down, licking at Denji's hand causing the boy to smirk fondly.]

I do, my life's work has put me into something of a wild life researcher along with a veterinarian position. I happen to also be a scientist an inventor- as I said, the position of a Pokémon Professor means I cover quite the variety of fields in my work and study.

[That underlying need to help, but also the pursuit of his own wants and interests mingled here since he was left to his own devices. At the very least Dojima helped ensure he didn't just... keep always busy.

Those who mistreat certainly do not deserve pups like Cal and the others indeed, and at the very least they are well cared for and together here. All the more reason you would be welcome to come by along with Cal, to visit and see how things are.

Socializing them will be good, with people and other animals that do well around dogs.

Damn dude you're like an all rounder genius! You said you're a veterinarian too?! So does that mean if Cal eats one of my socks or something and doesn't poop it out you can help him?!

[He's totally not speaking from a situation that may or may not have almost happened, nope, not at all.]

I'm sure he'd like to see his brothers and sisters so I'll definitely bring him by sometime soon to come play. Whatcha think about that buddy?

It does mean that, yes, along with anything else to help keep him healthy such as simple routine health checks to help ensure a long and happy life.

[Even if it seemed like most creatures of this world didn't always have the same life expectancy as some pokemon; some could live for decades, or even centuries, after all. Still.]

He may find new playmates as well if the pack Mariposa is from stays around.

[They were, and the guard dogs would more or less become 'pack' which more or less meant more to play and help socialize and not simply go wild.]

[Denji wanted to make sure Cal was happy and healthy so it was nice knowing if something bad ever did happen by chance there was someone here in Escordvi who could help. Nodding in understanding Denji smiles wide when his canine companion barks happily at the proclamation in tandem.]

Sounds like Cal is game! We'll have to stop by and see these cool fire dogs.

[Turo chuckled, and there seemed to be a sound of agreement from Mariposa as well, tail wagging. The dog would know the pack planned to stay after all; there were more of them out in the world, but this seemed like a good place to settle for them.]
