I could use a bit of advice myself, so it would seem. Initially, I had thought to also hide my identity. However, I realized that it would do me little good. With what I've to ask, I fear it might be a touch obvious.

Thus I ask: what would be a good gift to celebrate one year of being with your partner? How do I present it to him when we don't have a specific date? Officially, that is.

A silly thing to ask, I know. I suppose I would simply like for it to mean something and seeing Cassiopea only brings it to the forefront of my mind - to ensure that with the time we are granted that I express myself appropriately.

You may need something more than stockings for that. However, if you are not intending to hide the fact that you have them, then you are freer with your options. I had to use my disguise as best I could.

I am not a very subtle person, I fear. There was a time where I thought I was very successful, only to learn that I am, in fact, terrible at it.

This makes me realize I should have some disguise icons for Sherry...

Oh I am more than aware. It was under such circumstances where he asked me out on our first date.

At the time, I thought he was merely playing the role of an interested party. I failed to realize that he was, ah, an actual interested party.

[ Sherlock probably wouldn't have recognized that he's being flirted with in earnest, especially while disguised and on a case, so he can't say anything about that. ]

If you wish to be sentimental about what initially started your relationship, then perhaps something related to the disguises the both of you wore that could have a practical aspect to it as well.

Then I must begin to search. A peaceful grove of trees should do nicely for what I need.

If you do not have anything reflective and will not be very disruptive, there is an area in the Cosmo Conservatory on Eltrut. The golden bee rabbit spirits reside there, and we try to keep the area as calm as possible for they are very skittish.

However, other places in the Conservatory might still serve your needs even if you cannot remain completely peaceful as long as you do not disturb the animals who call the place home.

Believe me when I say I have only peaceful intentions. I wouldn't dream of doing anything disruptive or downright destructive.

My thoughts, perhaps, might have strayed towards music. Zack has, ah, vocalized the fact that he wishes to hear me sing more. So I thought that I might lean into that a touch.

For a moment I thought you were referring to Zack. I was about to follow up with asking how you believe him to be a savage beast.

Only now do I realize you mean the creatures living within.

[ Savage beast and Zack is not a connection Sherlock would have made, and he's a little concerned and confused as to why G'raha thought that. ]

Hmm. I will need to acquire the appropriate instrument then.

[ Thankfully, Sherlock does not because he'd likely then ask more questions in his confusion. More important is music, anyways. ]

I bought a violin from [insert shop and location here]. They had a multitude of instruments, some I've never seen before. The prices were fair, and the quality of the instrument are good enough for all but the most particular sort of musician or collector.

[ It's no Stradivarius, but it does the job quite nicely. ]

Of which I am neither, I fear. My musical talents are more bardic in nature. A lyre and my voice and that is usually all that I need.

I shall look at this shop, if you believe that this is where I can find at least one of those things.

A lyre... I believe there were a few in the shop. You'll have your choice of them.

Ah good. I wasn't sure how prevalent such things were here. It's not as though I attempt to step into stores, after all. Not ones that carry instruments.
