I could use a bit of advice myself, so it would seem. Initially, I had thought to also hide my identity. However, I realized that it would do me little good. With what I've to ask, I fear it might be a touch obvious.

Thus I ask: what would be a good gift to celebrate one year of being with your partner? How do I present it to him when we don't have a specific date? Officially, that is.

A silly thing to ask, I know. I suppose I would simply like for it to mean something and seeing Cassiopea only brings it to the forefront of my mind - to ensure that with the time we are granted that I express myself appropriately.

No? I was under the impression that is what one does when a partner is this eager. You put a collar on them and train them using your affection as a reward.

The Warrior of Light? I'm sure I have no idea how they could have gained that impression. You were with them throughout most of their time on the First, not I, and I was on my best behaviour whenever I did grace you with my presence.

I am not speaking of events on the First that would have brought me to that conclusion. If anything, we both are aware of the nature of the Warrior of Light and how capable they are of being unruly when it pleases them. Yet I daresay you held some fondness for them all the same.

I think you misunderstand something, boy. Anything I felt for them was a lingering attachment to who they once were. Not who they are now.
