There's nothing strange about it when the goal is to reflect the holiday and spread cheer to everyone. And I know that everyone will be more delighted to see you than me.

Something I would want? There isn't anything specific that I would want-- honestly just the fact someone would give me a present would be enough. It doesn't really matter what the present is, it's just the thought that counts.

[A beat as she adjusts her hat.]

Still, the only gifts that Santa gets is usually just some cookies and knowing that people are excited and happy to receive gifts from him.

Oh, I wasn’t aware that milk was involved too. Back home, the penguin who gives gifts to good children usually wants candy…

It doesn't have to involve milk, [beer is also highly welcomed] it just goes good with cookies.

Good, he'll only show when you're asleep. That said, I am planning on being busy, but not as busy as Santa most likely will be. [Spoken as if he's actually real.]

Yes, it’s a popular fairy tale back in Fontaine. There is a penguin who gives presents to good children. He is similar to uh…Santa and he only comes at night.

[He said with a pause or two.]

He usually eats candy and the children give it to him as a thank you for all the hard work he is doing.

That is very similar to Santa, yes. Santa does also live in a place where lots of penguins exist.

[Synchronicity really is an odd thing.]

Perhaps he'll make you a visit this year as well. What sort of candies does he like?

He likes just about anything. To him, the children giving candy is a way to show him love. He works all night to make sure all good children get presents…

[He said with a pause.]

He is not picky as he doesn’t want to make them upset either.

And good for us! We should stop and pick up some candies as well then! Lots of it to show our appreciation for coming all the way out here.

Mm, we can do that as well. Santa is the same, however. He isn't picky when it comes to cookies, he's just happy people are happy, and that they're kind enough to leave him a sweet snack for his very long night. Delivering presents to everyone is a lot of work, after all!

Then…how about chocolate chip cookies? I hear that a lot of people like them so he would probably like them too.
