I-- that is, my real friend that I have that I'm asking for kinda swims like a boulder. And this planet is like, really wet? Sooooo.

Anyway, I'm pretty much at my forge all the time when I'm not out exploring the ruins or home. It's on Eltrut, can't miss it. If you feel like coming by, you can give me a hand testing these babies.

Yeah, it's like a big metal bubble that you can steer. They were just starting to get designed back where I come from.

I think it depends on how deep these ruins are? Because the water pressure could make the thing implode if there's even a tiny design flaw. Which I'm really glad my nerd friend told me about, otherwise I'd volunteer to help test it.

They're not that deep. At least, not the ones I've been to. Plus, once we get inside there's actual rooms and places with air.

Honestly, we might be overthinking this. I'm just looking for an excuse to screw around with magitech, really.

If that's the case, I really could just get away with strapping myself to a boulder to get down!

Build the thing anyway, though, I say! If it's something you wanna do, why wait for an excuse?

I mean, it's less an excuse and more that I'm pretty sure it'll be a deathtrap.

Guy named Emet-Selch. He's spearheaded the project of a powerful engine for ships here. I worked him on getting his whole facility set up.

Maybe I can convince him to lend some expertise to the project. That way people who aren't especially water inclined can get their eyes on the ruins themselves.

The more perspectives, the better.

If you can get this guy on board, that would be awesome! I think everybody would benefit from a project like this, considering all the, y'know, water.

Considering that the world as we know it is flooded, anything that lets us get around down there and see what was lost might clue us in on how people can get home.

...Actually, if it's about the rifts I might know a few people willing to help.
