Binary system assistance

Type: Video
Sender ID: emet-sulk (Emet-Selch)

Subject: Binary system assistance
Warnings: None

[ Emet-Selch is in his workshop. Slightly off-screen, one can see a mess of small, miscellaneous parts. He looks...mildly stressed. ]

This may seem an...odd question. Some of you come from worlds which use the binary system in your programming language, correct? How are those binary digits arranged? I'm lacking something fundamental that allows the data from this disc to be deciphered in a meaningful way.

[ He holds up the DVD that Denji had given him. It's something anyone from Earth or an Earth-adjacent world with the technology will recognise. ]

Any assistance, however small, would be appreciated.

I did, yes, and I am thinking of creating a few more along the same line of them with simply different abilities in mind. Any help would be appreciated as this world is the first I am making these attempts.

[Creating machines that even mimicked life, though no where near the extent of himself. Something more useful as a tool, but with some basic programming in case there was ever some emergency or other.

The runes as circuitry meant he could pack a little more without need of making them bigger- or heavier.]

Perhaps, my only worry falls on resources as it would take quite a bit of exploration to come up with enough; on land and sea.

That would likely be beneficial in multiple ways- to be rid of quite a bit of debris that are simply rotting away, and making good use of the salvage. Make some use out of shipwrecks once anything else possibly within accounted for.

[Recycling something that could supply a larger amount of it, outside of simply discarded items-]

The work goes on from there, of course.

They likely would- along with wildlife where those ships have brought more harm in their spots that good.

[Those mostly got wouldn't have anything useful, and certain others could be left where they were. Be easy enough to spot any wreckage that was doing active damage to the ecosystem- mostly.]

Of course, I am happy to be of help. It does do well to simply workshop ideas or merely thoughts with someone else, most of the time.
