Let's get ready to rumble! ... Or, uh, whatever cooking version of that is. Crumble?

Sweet, lets get down to it then! I got everything we're gonna need, cocoa butter, cocoa powder, milk, salt, sugar, and a couple of molds. All we gotta do is mix it all together and BAM! Chocolate.

[Just don't ask him to do anything especially complex. Kintoki is obviously a really Golden guy, but even he has his limits sometimes!]

[ Keep it simple? Sounds safe! ]

Whoa, I had no idea cocoa butter was even a thing! Is that, like chocolate butter? I'd put that on everything! I'd eat it whole!

[ ... but he may need to keep an eye on her regardless. ]

Yeah, but it ain't like an actual butter. It's more like something you melt and use when making chocolate.

[Don't ask him about the specifics, because Golden hasn't gone that far into the SCIENCE of baking.]

So first, we gotta fill up a pot with some water, then heat it to get hot, but not hot enough to boil. After that we put a second bowl into the pot and then add in the cocoa butter.

You sound like a baking expert! I feel more confident already!

[ She rolls up her sleeves and begins digging around the shelves for a pot. ]

How big's this sucker gotta be?

Haha! Not sure about expert, but I know a few things.

[Gotta make that attempt of being both humble and prideful at the same time! He can't help it.

At her question, he goes ahead and grabs the (obviously) Golden tray with heart molds.]

Not big, we're gonna be using these small, heart-shaped molds to make a huge batch of them.

[ She glances at the golden hearts, then the apron, then his hair, and raises an eyebrow. ]

... I'm sensing a theme here. You and my uncle might get along.

[Now just what might give you that idea, Della? Also, he's prepping the rest of the stuff!]

Well, he too has a fondness for many things Golden... coins, treasures, a certain back-stabbing adventuring lady...

[ Boy, Goldie being here would be a mess for everyone. But... hey, she's supposed to be helping, isn't she??? She looks around, trying to find something to grab and do, even if it's just a blind yoink! ]

Hey, if he likes Golden things then he doesn't sound bad to me!

[Kintoki can even vibe with the whole evil lady bit!]

Alright, lets fill the pot up with some water and place the other bowl in it.

[He'll move aside when she grabs whatever she just grabbed to place on the stove while he goes to grab a measuring cup of water.]

[ d-do not vibe with evil ladies!!!

She shoves her chosen item under the water to fill it to the max. who needs measuring cups, just eye it! ]

You're supposed to drink eight glasses a day, so more water is good, right?

[ ... so, should the alarm bells in his head go off yet ]

[It just comes naturally! Somewhere out there, Shuten is probably going to let out a devilish grin for no reason.

Ain't no need to measure it when the cocoa butter is going to go into the second bowl that goes into the pot. Golden is going to busily begin mixing the first bit of ingredients together.]

Eh, we're just using it to heat the ingredients in the second bowl up so they don't get scorched. Here, wanna go ahead and stir the butter? It's gotta keep moving. Then we add in the cocoa powder once it's all melted.

[Nah, no alarm bells yet!]

Just stir it gently and slow.

too hard. Way too hard. Her arm's a blur. Bits might go flying. ]

Haha! Whoa now! I like that Golden fire of yours! But you gotta slow it down, that stuff's super-hot!

[Kintoki laughs in return and moves to place a giant hand on hers to help her slow her speed a bit.]

Getting hurt while making chocolate would be kinda silly.

But it would make one surefire story! And it'd show my dedication to the craft!

[ Thankfully, she does slow down. They'll have to clean up that fun mess later. ]
