Yo, so how many of ya know about Valentine's Day? It was pretty big back in Chaldea so I was kinda curious.

It's a pretty big deal back home! Though for people like me, we consider it "Half-Price-Chocolate-Eve."

Same! Everyone went nuts over it back home and made all kinds of crazy chocolates and snacks! We probably would have called it "Full-Price-Chocolate-Eve".

You got any special plans for it?

Nah, romance isn't really in the cards for me in this place.

So just count me on someone waiting for the discount chocolates and getting brand new cavities!

That's fair! But I wouldn't count yourself out of the love game. I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who would be interested here.

No, but I have tried making cakes, and to be quite honest, I think I committed several war crimes in the kitchen.

Valentine’s Day?

I'm afraid I am unfamiliar with this holiday. Is similar the one I heard recently with a man named 'Santa'?

Yeah, it's like, a day where you get and give presents to people you care about. Spreading love and good vibes and all that.

Kinda like Santa! But more focused on the whole love aspect of things.

Oh, I quite like that idea. Its similar to a holiday I hear people celebrate where I am from called Midsummer. Though its more about celebrating the summer solstice. However there is a part of it where those with loved ones receive gifts.

I, however, don't have anyone like that here.

Yeah, gifts, cards, dinner, dates, the whole thing. It's pretty dang radical! You don't even need anyone like that. You can just grab whoever you wanna spend time with and hang with them.

It's all about spreading that free love.

[Koh takes a moment to think about it. Who would she do that with here? Sure, she has spoken with a few people, though she wasn't particularly close with them. The one that she has spent some time with, she could already see him rejecting her proposal if she suggested it.]

I will keep that in consideration. Did you take someone out to celebrate here?

So far? The closest I've done so far has been making some chocolate with someone. It was pretty Golden, and I'm rarin' to go out again if anyone wanted.

I'm still pretty new here, trying to figure out all that is there to see. If you wanted to, we could 'go out' as a little cultural exchange.

I actually did meet someone fused with the spirit of Cupid.

They were kind of a lot.

Not surprising. I met the god himself. He is not my favorite.

Eh, I'm not sure if I would go that far. But trying to keep up with them and how they think can be kind of not Golden.

She's fine when she's just chilling. But ain't really my type to hang around with when she's got an interest in doing something. You feel me? Kinda like a devilish saint.

I only had one encounter with my world's Cupid. He doesn't strike me as the type to be chill at all. But that's gods for you. They're very serious about their domains.

[Nico's still very pissed about the time he met Cupid.]

I guess they can be serious when they gotta be? Most of the time they seemed to just goof off and do whatever they want. That's cool and all, but can be kind of a pain when it causes problems for everyone.

That's my world in a nutshell. Except my father. He and the other Chthonic gods don't goof off.

Eh, I guess gods can be different between each other. I met this one guy named Zeus who took things way too seriously. Don't blame him, but still the end result was totally not gonna be worth it.
