[ The feed starts out a little dark, honestly. But one can definitely hear the heavy breathing of some sort of creature. ]

Come on, girl, you have to let me out sometime.

[ Light suddenly shines through and one can see Claude's hand pushing up a large wing and exposing the vast expanse of white scale. ]

Apparently she thinks that I also need to stay in her nest. You'd think we've gone back in time where she had just been a baby and me a kid spending nights in the aery together. That's not what this is about though.

[ The camera pans to Khalid, who gives a little wave before pointing back to his wyvern. A white wyvern in a nest, wrapped around two eggs. Claude is still holding a wing up so that he can catch sight of his best friend. The wyvern just releases a little groan and a huff. ]

She had them just the other day. Chances are if you don't see me for a while it's because of these little guys. I'd hunt down anyone who cursed me with this luck, but how can I be upset seeing at how pleased she is? What a proud mother.

[The way the large wyvern seems overprotective of her rider puts Ambrosia and Clive to mind. Surely if Ambrosia's wings were large enough to tuck the man under them, she'd do the exact same and the thought of it makes Jill smile.]

Should I assume congratulations are in order?

[ Thankfully, Claude and his wyvern have been given a spot at The Roost to hunker down in until he's able to leave with mom and kids.

Maybe he should look into a house or something. ]

For now. We still have a while to see if the eggs are actually viable. I assume so, but ah... Don't count your wyverns before they hatch?

[Oh, he's in The Roost? Good luck on not getting picked up like a stray by Cid because that is a thing that happens. Repeatedly.]

Well, I usually don't have any eggs to hatch, much less wyverns, but I understand the notion.

How long is the wait?

[ Who knows. It might happen! Not like Claude has been recruited yet. ]

Hmmm. About eighty days, usually. Now I don't know if that will still be true, given I don't know what the incubation time for the dragons here is.

But at least you have a timeframe to work with. They'll either hatch before or after eighty days or not at all.

Though I'm sure there's someone here who is familiar with native dragon husbandry. Have you sent out any queries about that?

I hadn't yet, no. It was something I was going to do once I know, for sure, there is something developing in those eggs.

Wyverns are an essential part of my culture. [ One of them anyway. ] So it's not like I'm clueless about what all I need to do.
