Subject: thornbind cure update, possible other business related matters
Warnings: None worth noting yet?
Hello everyone, this is Azul Ashengrotto speaking. I meant to put out this news sooner to everyone, but due to certain events that have taken place, my ability to do so was delayed until now.
[re: he got fucking kidnapped. yes, he's still mad about it, and no, he doesn't want to talk about it right this second.]
As some of you may know, there are very few things that I as a mage would be considered incapable of brewing, enchanting, or crafting a spell or potion for. [nice ego fluffing there azul] It came to my attention last month that there was a string of incidents involving the "Thornbind" disease that had begun to crop up: for those unaware, it causes vines and thorns to grow from the infected person's body and can be extremely dangerous if left unchecked.
Luckily, I have managed to develop a cure that has proven successful after the tests I've done with it and from checking in on the people that I have given it out to thus far among the locals. Thus, if you or anyone else you know of are in need of it, please let me know. Anyone that would be willing to help with delivering the medicine to people, or to any of the nearby clinics and hospitals would also be quite appreciated right now.
As for other ailments one may be experiencing in this place [you know, the brands they've all gotten lately, which he is not going to discuss too loudly here just to be safe] ... well, that may require more research and discussion among other like-minded mages or researchers like myself to come up with a solution for. But as always, my door is always open to any soul in need of a specific wish granted on your behalf, so please do not hesitate to ask if you have any requests to make for me here.
[Sorry, even in text form and while recovering from stuff, Azul has to play the businessman.]

[He smirks.
He’s serious about knocking him unconscious. Through magic or physical means, it doesn’t matter.]

Testing, he turns here so that his feet are back on the floor, but he doesn't actually make to stand up from the bed yet when he speaks.]
I have to say, you're making quite a big deal out of this. More than I would have expected from you, to be honest.
[Then again... Leona does seem to like sleeping during the day, and probably would think its a waste for Azul not to when he actually has what others would call a good reason to be doing so. And he was also quite serious about Azul's eating habits back in February too, come to think of it...
... Hmm. Maybe he shouldn't be surprised that Leona would be serious about this too, actually.]

[Really, don’t. Leona doesn’t need anyone to point it out or think too much about what he’s doing here.
He takes Azul’s cane and moves it out of reach. If the octopus wants it, he’ll need to stagger out of bed. But in the same vein, he’s going to cast a sleeping spell on the younger man.]

[Sure enough, upon Azul's staff suddenly being grabbed and moved out of his reach, Azul instinctively tries to get up and snatch it back--only for a wave of exhaustion to hit him upon the motion, causing him to stagger and have to instead grab at the closest object to keep from falling face forward onto the floor.
The nearest object in this case being Leona himself, his hand grabbing at his arm here for support. He blinks hard, trying to fight against the sleeping spell attempting to take effect, even if he knows its ultimately futile.]
Leona-san, you...

His tail swished lazily behind him.]
Sweet dreams, punk.
[He nudges Azul to lay down.]

But as much as Azul tries to fight it, the sleeping spell takes hold once he's nudged into lying back down on the bed, eyes slipping closed. He still has his glasses on, sitting askew on his face now, since he missed the chance to even think of taking those off.
He still has a hand on Leona's arm though, and it momentarily clings onto him far too tight, a last attempt at trying to fight the spell. Eventually though, his grip is slowly going slack, until finally his hand is falling away entirely onto the bed with him.]

With a soft exhale, he flicks the glasses off of Azul’s face and has them resting on the bed beside him. The moment that grip does slack? He pulls his hand back and stares down at him.
Hmm…
Leona glances at the cane; rather, at the magestone. It’s darker than it should be. He clicks his tongue at that. But he doesn’t do anything for now. For now, Leona glances at Azul before he turns on his heel and walks out of the apartment. He came what he wanted to do. No point in lingering any longer.]
