Good day, everyone.

[An easily polite opening, Turo carrying the phone in hand, just getting a shot of his head and shoulder—]

My apologies for being on low contact for a while, even thought some of you could still easily find me at Cosmo Conservatory animal sanctuary. There was a... much needed break taken, one could say. Not that it was completely filled with rest.

[—some could likely recognize Dojima sitting on the floor within view, Mariposa walking up beside the man and setting one of the wiggly, squeaky-noise making puppies right into the man's hands. More than one in view as while Dojima was playing with them, well.

In a short amount of time the detective was simply on his back and at the 'mercy' of Xolos puppies just starting to get their paws under them. Iron Valiant carrying a few clean blankets simply stepping over/around it all easily.

Turo focusing the camera on himself, a very sleepy Xolos puppy cradled against his chest -a few white spots on otherwise black fuzz- with a loose lavender 'ribbon' around its neck. Could possibly count 8 puppies in total.]

Mariposa made sure of that. Once they are a little older, and house trained, these little ones going off to a less crowded home may do them well; and do not worry if you do consider it, this breed does do well around other animals.

[Despite that Things Keep Happening™ there, at least this had been a brighter spot.]

Having puppies to wrangle isn't really resting or much of a break.

[But, well. He supposes that Turo has the other staff to help out as needed. He hopes the other wasn't pushing himself, trying to do too much. Hiro isn't sure if he would want a pet here, but at the least, he could come visit and play with them sometime.]

More so when they are a bit of a surprise- but a better surprise considering things... lately.

Yeah. A nice surprise. Better than some other surprises. Could be worse. Just let me know if you need a hand.

[Even if Hiro isn't sure on having a pet here, he could at least come and play with the pups. Come visit. Check in with Turo from time to time.]

A hand would be appreciated whenever you had the time to stop by. It would likely help them socialize even before they can be taken to a new home. They will be waddling around easier any day as well.

[They wiggled and were still getting it now, but soon enough they would be mobile.]

Sure. I could use a break every so often. I can come play with the pups. Just might have to be careful the claws don't pop Baymax's vinyl, but that's what cellotape is for.

[Hiro says with a shrug. Baymax didn't seem to mind animals. So it probably would be fine. So long as the pups got used to people. Were cared for until they were able to go out to find new homes. He and Baymax could at least visit to provide some company for them. Help Turo out where they could.]

Puppy claws can be sharp, along with little puppy teeth simply due to their size. I can offer something of a sealant if there is need; water proof. Still, it is good exercise for them given they may be better at walking any day now.

[And all the more puppy energy when they realize their freedom that came with better mobility- despite still having short puppy legs]

Yeah? That would probably work better than just taping up any holes. I was more focused on figuring the charging situation for him when we first got here and all. I've been working on some upgrades for him, a new suit, but. That would be great. Especially if it's waterproof.

I'm sure you'll get plenty of offers to come play with them at least. People love puppies.

Which is understandable, honestly. Being able to keep a charge is important- but yes. It is something I have made using sap from the crystal trees which are water repellent in their nature, and it may do well while keeping stretchy as needed.

Indeed, but the more the better I believe; they are on the verge of being more mobile. That paired with their energy will certainly make looking after them much more... exciting may be the word for it?

That sounds perfect! I'm not as worried about the water; he has been wet before and seemed okay. Probably made to manage that in case he had to help in an emergency involving drowning or whatever.

[But an alternative to just taping up any teeny holes is probably better.]

Exciting is one word for it. Yeah. I can come try help a little.

Then you are welcome to a supply of it, which I can continue producing as need be. I certainly use it in a few of my own projects just to help water proofing them.

[Something he could make without taking a tree down; sap tapping was slower, but better in the long run.]

Yeah? Thanks! If there's anything else I can help with, let me know. I want to repay you for your help somehow.

[Hiro really did just want to help where he could. Turo had helped a lot with figuring out some ideas for charging Baymax. But at the same time, they all have to work together. To help each other. Even working with those on the other armada. None of that really mattered.]

[There was something to see just how Hiro worked at times, young as he was there was clear brilliance and a mind just eager to- well, figure out things that caught interest. He held memories of enthusiasm from someone else.]

[Probably a few curious animal visitors here and there as well.]

Right. I'll message you before I head over to see you, anyway. Baymax loves Mochi back home. I'm sure that will probably extend to him liking dogs. And I can play fetch or something. Keep them occupied, get them used to being around people.

[That much seems easy enough? In theory? Hiro was more used to cats, having grown up with Mochi, but still. He could manage that much. Probably.]

Of course. It very well may, and there is Dapplewhisker in the 'office' with me today if he does wish to visit a cat as well. Any little bit of visit and play will help with that, and it doesn't hurt they do seem social by nature; a little jump to get onto it never hurts once able, of course.

[Animals could be as simple... as they could be difficult, depending on any given moment or what was happening.]

Oh, Baymax loves cats. You should see him with Mochi, my cat back home. He loves sitting and petting him. When he was low on battery one time, he was calling Mochi a 'hairy baby'.

[Hiro says, chuckling at the memory. It was pretty funny. Maybe not in the moment when Hiro was panicking about getting him to the charger so he would stop acting all weird. But now, in hindsight. Hilarious.]

[Turo did tilt the shellphone a bit, showing the large cat sitting on top of the desk just behind him.]

'Hairy baby' is certainly a way to describe a cat, and sounds like quite the sight- Dapplewhiskers is one of the Warrior Cats that were trained to help control pests on ships, but while not 'on the job' she is an affectionate one.

I'm sure Baymax will love saying hi to the cats, too. Dapplewhiskers is kinda a cute name.

[Hiro says with a chuckle, gesturing to the screen to show Baymax, who peers at the screen, pointing. He sees the kitty!]

Red's own Warrior Cat does roam given they live here- and yes. The name is just as cute as the cat it belongs to.

[Dapplewhiskers make quite the jump- easily landing on Turo's shoulder to peer into the camera with a meow. Showed how large she was as well; of course the man ended up with a Maine Coon. Still, there was kitty greetings!]

I can bring some toys. Some food. Help feed and play with them. I'm sure others will too.

[He offers, figuring he wouldn't be alone in wanting to spend some time with the animals. He does miss Mochi. He smiles as he watches Dapplewhiskers leap, better able to compare her size. She must be one of those Maine Coons? They were pretty big, right? Not like Mochi was.]

A good idea given... we are a little short when it comes to toys fitting for those wishing to play. All welcome, as it will do well for when others will need to feed them since it will not always be Dojima and myself- or their mother, of course.

[Maine Coon like a few of the others, and her size certainly seemed all that much bigger at time with just how Dapplewhiskers held herself.]

I'll see what I can come up with. I'm sure there's a pet store or something around. And yeah, I can help feed them. I kinda miss Mochi, so. It'll be nice. Having cats around again.

[No, he won't force these cats into Stitch outfits. Or experiment giving them rocket boots.]

They will likely appreciate it well- even if there are some of those attempt to hide some of that. Have you seen to Koalalas? They would probably enjoy the extra bit of fun as well.

[The family group did live in the trees closest to the medical building after all.]

Heh. Of course. Koalalas? Oh, the birds? I think I've seen some of those around the medical building when I've visited you before. I can see if the shops have something for birds.

[Hiro shifts in his chair, considering. He could at least check the shops. He assumes people here likely have pet birds or something. If those were a thing back home, why not here, too.]

Yes, they have been there ever since they were initially rescued. Rather friendly, and they have gotten the hang of mimicking a few melodies and words. They would likely enjoy a few things if you have luck in finding it.

[Very much like parrots in that matter, and the more involved -or if they could just safely 'bite' and all, they seemed happy.]

I hope you're doing better now! I know I get sick a lot (thanks to working with kids).

I'm sure some people probably have pet birds. I'm sure one of the stores will have some toys or something for them that I can find. I'll have a look and bring some things over next time I come see you.

[Hiro figures that pet toys wouldn't necessarily be that expensive. Or maybe he is just basing that off of having Mochi back home. But still, he can at least have a look and see what he can find for them.]
