Good day, everyone.

[An easily polite opening, Turo carrying the phone in hand, just getting a shot of his head and shoulder—]

My apologies for being on low contact for a while, even thought some of you could still easily find me at Cosmo Conservatory animal sanctuary. There was a... much needed break taken, one could say. Not that it was completely filled with rest.

[—some could likely recognize Dojima sitting on the floor within view, Mariposa walking up beside the man and setting one of the wiggly, squeaky-noise making puppies right into the man's hands. More than one in view as while Dojima was playing with them, well.

In a short amount of time the detective was simply on his back and at the 'mercy' of Xolos puppies just starting to get their paws under them. Iron Valiant carrying a few clean blankets simply stepping over/around it all easily.

Turo focusing the camera on himself, a very sleepy Xolos puppy cradled against his chest -a few white spots on otherwise black fuzz- with a loose lavender 'ribbon' around its neck. Could possibly count 8 puppies in total.]

Mariposa made sure of that. Once they are a little older, and house trained, these little ones going off to a less crowded home may do them well; and do not worry if you do consider it, this breed does do well around other animals.

They certainly are- and were a surprise. I suppose given the nature of the Xolos a 'stealth carry' does them well.

Xolos puppies- Xolos are a breed of dog native to this world, we happen to have a pack that has made Cosmo their home and Mariposa detached from it to spend most of her time with me.

They are natural guardians, and have an ability to breathe fire.

Me, I want to adopt one! My dad said I was allowed one pet and we've got a bunch of others on the ship - dogs and cats that one of these cute guys can make friends with.

Whenever I'm volunteering at the Sanctuary, the mama can see and hang out with her little baby.

You are welcome to- and of course if you wish you can assist in the house training- Xolos as a whole have the ability to breathe fire, and part of that training would be helping the little one control that.

[Mariposa was peeking up from over Turo's shoulder; he had sat on the floor as well.]

Even my own cat has assisted in watching the puppies as they sleep so their Mother can stretch and have a moment to herself here and there.

[He's never really thought about having an animal—at least, since he was a kid. But he's been starting to think about it here.]

A few extra hands in their care while at Cosmo would be ore than welcomed; even help socialize them that much easier, even if the Xolos do seem to be very friendly by nature.

[A reason there seemed to be a large cat checking on one of the puppies that had taken a small tumble from Dojima in the background. Laying down as the puppy wiggled closer to her.]

It is! One of the breeds native to this world, in fact.

[Turo had sat on the floor so- that was Mariposa's head rested on his shoulder and staring directly into the camera with one of those odd eyes, given how her head was tilted.]

A pack has made the sanctuary their home.

Having puppies to wrangle isn't really resting or much of a break.

[But, well. He supposes that Turo has the other staff to help out as needed. He hopes the other wasn't pushing himself, trying to do too much. Hiro isn't sure if he would want a pet here, but at the least, he could come visit and play with them sometime.]

[ Dog, dog, doggie. Sherlock's preference for text hides his excitement over the creatures, but Turo likely knows Sherlock well enough by now to know his fondness over the animal. Sherlock's own health means he's not been at the Cosmos Conservatory much, taking it easy when he is, but oh, how Sherlock wants to push himself for this. ]

Do you need some sketches for the Conservatory? I could bring Basker over, so they could meet another animal and he new ones to protect.

[ It is 100% an excuse to be around more puppies. ]

I would not mind any, and Basker would be very welcome to meet the puppies. Just as you are welcome to come sit and meet them. With them practicing walking better the extra eyes will be welcomed.

A breed of dog native to this world called Xolos; they remind me of a couple creatures from my world, I must say. There is a pack that has made Cosmo Conservatory their home, and she parted from them.

[Mariposa's head popped up over Turo's shoulder, given he had sat down, and she did brush a lick over the puppy's head he held before resting her head on his shoulder in a way she could look through the shellphone's camera as well.

Seemed to be a smile there, or as much of one as a dog could muster, warmth to it.]

I have caught sight of other packs on Eltrut as well, but they may spread further. friendly, and natural guardians with a deep loyalty once they have chosen a place or even creature.
