Behold Baymax....3.0??

[Hiro is out on the Island with Baymax. A much larger Baymax, or at least, he looks it, wearing new armour. Hiro is clearly the one recording as he turns the camera from Baymax to himself.]

It's ready! I think. I'm pretty sure. Doesn't he look awesome?! We can probably fly again! Baymax, test out the rocket fist.

[The camera points back to Baymax in the armour. The fist that isn't connected to the shield/barrier at his arm comes forward, and he aims it, firing it and showing that it works, to Hiro's delight. Hiro whoops and leaps in his excitement.]

Okay. Now flying.

[Baymax activates his rocket boots, showing that he can hover and control it before he goes higher, doing a circle above Hiro before landing again.]

Yes! Yes! This is awesome! It works! It finally works!

No? He must have really helped you out a lot then. Can't be that bad.

[Hiro says, shrugging but looking a little unsure. He has no idea what the context is behind this relationship, the history there. He's just basing this on the few things the other has said just now. Baymax listens, not figuring to interrupt just yet. He's just letting them chat.]

It’s a long history but he kind of saved my life.

[Because he knows Hiro doesn’t have time to listen to him talk about the Fatui and Fontaine as a whole.]

Even if we were enemies at one point…

Yeah. I get that. Things can be....complicated like that. Back home, I saved this guy's daughter. Even after I found out that he let Tadashi die in that fire. I'm still furious with him, but. Before that? He was someone I admired. Looked up to. Wanted to learn from. Things can change.

[For better or for worse. And he knows things can be complicated with some relationships. Hiro doesn't judge, just listens. Tries to sympathize. Help where he can. If the other has questions about the technology or whatever.]

And are you okay with that?

[Because he wasn't sure if he was the right person to judge whatever happened. He could understand feeling that way but he had to make sure Hiro was okay.]

[baymaxing]

Y-yeah. I mean. It wasn't her fault. She was just doing her job, helping with this portal project. It was how he reacted to that which....escalated things. He's in jail now, so. It isn't like he can hurt anyone there. And he has her back, so he isn't likely to do anything.

[Whenever he does get out. Hiro hasn't necessarily paid that much attention, beyond knowing which jail he was in. A rough idea of how long he might be there. It was just.....complicated. Hiro losing Tadashi here, knowing Tadashi was sent back to die, he hadn't taken that well.]

Even so, it must have still hurt to know he was something whom you looked up to. I would feel rather upset knowing if the Traveler or Father had done something so terrible that I can't forgive them.

[Although, all things considered, he would despite everything.]

Yeah. I mean. I knew of him before I found out he was teaching at Tadashi's nerd school. That was what made me want to go there. To study robotics under him.

[Hiro says. He's still studying. Just not with Callaghan as his professor. He's trying to move on and make the best of things. His new friends and Cass help. Being here has, in some ways, too. It would probably hurt more if he had really gotten to know Callaghan before everything went down. Even the brief time he had, it had hurt. The pain and anger, that feeling of betrayal, bubbling up and bursting like he had. He was lucky it wasn't worse. That nobody was actually hurt in all that.]

[And all Freminet could do was give a small pause or two.]

...But do you regret it? Going to school and study robotics, I mean.

[baymaxing]

Regret? No. Even if I'm not studying under him. I'm still learning a lot. It's actually making me work for this. Actually challenging me. I didn't have that back in school.

[The more he learned, the better he was at robotics, the more he could perfect his work and ideas. The more he could help people. He just has to get through university and decide just what he wants to do. He knows that others would probably be fighting to get him to work for them, if Krei and Callaghan were anything to go by with their interest in his microbots.]

That's good to hear. I just don't want you to feel like you regret everything you've done from him...

[Which he definitely knew from experience. But as he kept mumbling on, he wondered if he was regretting his own decisions. Regardless, he shook his head.]

...I know sometimes, I regret my own choices and I don't want you to feel the same.

[baymaxing]

I didn't save her for him. I just knew if Baymax picked up lifesigns, she had to still be there. Alive. I had to go rescue her.

[He doesn't regret that. Hiro just regrets that moment of pain and rage that had him remove Baymax's nursing chip, with Tadashi's healthcare programming. How Baymax had almost killed Callaghan as a result. In hindsight, he knows that he messed up. It was just in the moment, when Callaghan so easily dismissed that Tadashi had run back inside to try to save him. That Tadashi had died trying to save him.]

What happened after that? Was he...allowed to see her again?

[Because it seemed like the least he could do. After everything that man had gone through, he should see his daughter.]

[baymaxing]

I assume so? He's in prison, but I guess he would still be allowed visitors.

[The main thing for Hiro was that he was held accountable for what had happened. And that Abigail was alright. He hadn't necessarily really paid that much attention in the aftermath of it all, otherwise, given that he had then focused on sorting out his acceptance to university. And rebuilding Baymax.]

[For a moment, Freminet gave a small pause or two. He couldn't help but look and be a little nervous.]

...Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you with that.

[baymaxing]

N- no, it's fine. I just can't help being upset knowing Tadashi was being sent back home to that.

[Which. It isn't like the other can help. That anyone can control coming or going. Yet, anyway. So Hiro tries to bring back focus, as Baymax places a hand at his shoulder.]

Um, was there anything else here you wanted to look at or ask about?

No, not really I uh...

[Well, this wasn't what he wanted to talk about. He didn't mean to make things awkward!]

...Sorry, I think I made you sad.

[baymaxing]

No, it's....It's okay. People are always asking about Baymax. So, Tadashi comes up a lot.

[Hiro says, not meaning to have distracted, or brought the mood down. He just wanted to see if he could help the other with learning about technology. Baymax tries to reassure him, pointing to his stomach, where a young man appears on a recording. Evidently, from when he was in the process of making the robot.]

Tadashi is here.

I see.

[He said before getting a better look. IT was a man whom he had met here briefly and based on what the recording looked like; he was so happy. He was smiling at what he had done with Baymax. So much so, Freminet couldn't help but smile himself.]

...He put a lot of care and thought into him. I'm glad you think about him a lot.

[baymaxing]

Yeah. He did. I've just wanted to do what I can to continue. To find a way to help. Maybe not the same way he did, but.

[Hiro was still young. He'd figure things out. He had plenty of time to keep studying and figure out what he wanted to do once he finished at university. How he wanted to help others and contribute in his own way. It's been a bit now, since Tadashi had gone back home, but he was still just as much a presence in Hiro's thoughts.]

[As Freminet continued to look at the video, he couldn't help but think of his own siblings. He wasn't as confident as they were but he liked to think that he tries his best to help them. Even if it means that they were small things such as helping in the background....]

Please continue to believe in that. Mr. Tadashi might not be here anymore but I'm sure he'll believe in the miracle that bonds you two together.

[baymaxing]

Yeah. I'm doing what I can to keep going. Keep helping people, like he wanted to. Just...in my way.

[He wants to continue on for Tadashi. 'Someone has to help'. Maybe he is doing so in a different way than Tadashi would, upgrading Baymax like this and all, but. Hiro still wants to do his part. To honor his brother. To remember him in some way.]
