Behold Baymax....3.0??
Type: Video
Sender ID: baymaxing (Hiro Hamada)
To: Public/Open
Subject: Upgrades for Baymax
Warnings: Not that I can think of?
[Hiro is out on the Island with Baymax. A much larger Baymax, or at least, he looks it, wearing new armour. Hiro is clearly the one recording as he turns the camera from Baymax to himself.]
It's ready! I think. I'm pretty sure. Doesn't he look awesome?! We can probably fly again! Baymax, test out the rocket fist.
[The camera points back to Baymax in the armour. The fist that isn't connected to the shield/barrier at his arm comes forward, and he aims it, firing it and showing that it works, to Hiro's delight. Hiro whoops and leaps in his excitement.]
Okay. Now flying.
[Baymax activates his rocket boots, showing that he can hover and control it before he goes higher, doing a circle above Hiro before landing again.]
Yes! Yes! This is awesome! It works! It finally works!

[He was no longer soft and huggable.]

Re: video;
[She was trying to be enthusiastic? Haha. But also she really hoped 'sick' actually was a good thing here. It felt weird to her.]
Oh, okay. So he can really fly now? And, hmm, what else can he do with his new upgrades?
video;
[He assumes she gets from the context that 'sick' is good. A lot of things he talks about or knows might be a bit new to people here. But Hiro was getting more used to that. To trying to explain. He grins and nods at her questions.]
Yeah! He can fly! And the rocket fist, too. And this time he's better protected, I think. Because he's inside the suit like this. I think this works better. Compared to his last one. I just had to figure some adjustments, with the magitech here.
Re: video;
You've done this before? Back in your world. What was it like that time? Why did you do it? What does Baymax think of it? Wasn't he created for...something else?
[Sorry, that was a lot of questions. Her thoughts just kind of got away from her.]
video;
[He explains, as Baymax approaches and waves hello to Aerith.]
Hello. I am created as a healthcare companion. Even though Hiro has programmed me with -- martial arts -- I will not use it to harm anyone.

action; bc I can!
Does that mean we can flying together now?!
action ahoy
[As Baymax lands, Hiro all but bounds over, grinning as he turns off the phone's feed to not potentially make anyone nauseous from the video recording as he climbs up on Baymax's back, holding on with his own new suit.]
Well, let's give him a proper test ride.

How did you manage to make your companion fly when he's so big?

Is your companion a fighter?
no subject
well, his programming means that baymax can't actually hurt anyone, but. i figured at least this way, he can help keep me or anyone else safe. so i did add programming some martial arts into a chip for him.
no subject
You made yourself a bodyguard then. It seems like he'd be able to do a lot to keep you safe.
no subject
exactly! i told him, he wants to keep me safe and healthy, right? so. fighting!

That's so cool!! How long did it take you to make him?
video
[Understandably. Given Hiro's home doesn't do magic. He's more specialized in robots. Technology and science are his thing. Not so much magic, that tends to stay in the likes of comics and video games or the like.]
no subject
[and that was weird enough on its own.]
So what, you got a robot battle buddy now or something? What's he for?
no subject
[Hiro says with a shrug. He's never seen the need to lie or hide about his past. What he used to get up to. He still has some moments, especially with Nimona, where he might occasionally fall back into his more mischievous side. But it's never anything that malicious.]
What's Baymax for? He's my personal healthcare companion. I just made some upgrades, is all. With him being able to fly again, we can get around quickly and more easily help out if someone gets hurt. And he can, you know, keep me safe, with his martial arts.
no subject
[that would be his mother, obviously. and Rachel, before she got possessed by the weird fortune telling mummy.]
Healthcare companion? Huh. Never would've guessed that from all the armor, but that's pretty cool.
