Stop going into the rifts. They don't take you wherever they show.

[...The ice shards are new. It doesn't deter him as he practically punches the ice shards, sending them flying everywhere and few possibly back towards Freminet. ]

[As he blocks them with his own wall of ice, he attempted to throw some more his way as a distraction. Although that doesn't stop Freminet from running up to him and attempting a swing from his sword at him.]

[Freminet will find more success this time. He could choose to avoid both, but he isn't here to prove his own capabilities. There is no equal to the Ultimate Lifeform anyway. So he lets those ice shards hit him, the sword he deem a larger threat. His fur stings from the cold, but he manages to kick their sword away. There is no follow-up from Shadow this time, not yet. So what will Freminet do?]

[Freminet knew he wasn't going to kick him as hard as he should. He was and never will be a fighter like his siblings. Instead, he attempted to swing him with a kick despite knowing it wouldn't do much damage.]

[The kick is easily blocked by Shadow, but he isn't retaliating. His arm remains up as long as their leg is there.] Hm. [What will Freminent do now?]

[It was clear that Shadow wasn't doing anything. It was then, Freminet had to wonder just how far he could do. For a brief moment, there was a certain look in his eyes that screamed out something but he shook his head.

Instead, he picked up his sword once more before attempted to swing it across him.]

[...Was he imagining it, or did they give him a strange look for a moment there? But then came the sword once more. He ducks and sidesteps, a fist coming up onto the flatside of the blade to knock it off course and catch Freminet off-balance from the swing.

He'll then backstep away from him, no follow-up, just eyes them. For just a moment, he thought he saw something unexpected, especially from what he's seen of Freminet so far. Why it gives him pause, because it wasn't a whatever it was, gave him a bad feeling.]

[As he took a few steps back, he realized what he had done before mumbling to himself. If Shadow was as observant as he was, then he knew what he had saw.]

Sorry, I...I didn't mean to do that.

[He said in a low voice before lowering his shoulders. While his guard wasn't down, he wasn't putting up a fight either. Looking at his sword, he placed himself in a defensive position once more.]

...No. It means I should try harder. [He disappears in a blur, moving faster than the average person can follow. He reappears near their side and swings a punch with more force behind it than before. He wants to see it again.]

[Using his sword to block the punch, Freminet took a step back before attempting to throw some ice shards his way once more. With his words, he was starting to panic. He didn't mean for this to happen and now that Shadow was attempting to bring that side of him out, he was scared.]

[Understanding his opponent is part of better assessing how to tackle a situation. It's how he sees it, so he will push Freminet if he feels it necessary. He grabs an ice shard, deflecting the others with a well aimed kick and sends the shard back at him.

With an ice shard coming before Freminet, he skates around him and aims to swing another punch to their side. He may have picked up the pace, but his hits are still non-lethal.]

[With the shards coming back at him, Freminet immediately ran toward the side in hopes of avoiding them. During that time, as Shadow attempts to keep on attacking, Freminet swung his sword in hopes to just get the punches to stop. At the same time, he was attempting to put an ice wall around himself.

Just to give him a moment to pause and rethink a new plan of action.]

[The swing of the sword manages to keep Shadow back. Jets come on as he picks up speed, trying to outpace the ice wall forming and should he succeed, dive in to swing a kick down onto Freminet.]

[And in that moment, Freminet realized that he trapped himself. Quickly, he had no choice but to pick up the speed. As fast as he could, he tried to push Shadow away with his sword before he panicked.

And yet, as he did so, his swing was stronger than usual.]

[He could feel the pushback. They're at a stalemate. He relieves a bit of the tension. Rather than back off though, he orientates his body so that it descends away from the direction of the sword's swing. He comes landing back onto the ground besides Freminet, a fist coming towards him, but stops short from actually hitting.

If there's no retaliation, that fist opens to grab them by their clothes instead, to toss them out of their ice prison.]

[This wasn't going anywhere. No matter what Freminet did, Shadow didn't want to stop. Well, if that was the case, Freminet wouldn't stop either. Immediately, he tried to kick Shadow before stopping him from tossing him out of the ice wall.

As he did so, he had to glare at him before smashing the floor with ice as shards shoot up.]

[The kick hits it's mark. Energy crackles in Shadow's left hand. In a flash, the newly formed ice shards are sliced through, along with a part of the wall behind him. A spear made of energy had formed in his hand. He didn't stop them all though. A few manage to make contact with his leg and the side of his stomach area, leaving cuts before he jetted himself away and above the shards. They are minor injuries, nothing he can't handle.]

Hm. [The child continues to show more of what they're hiding. He will step up along with them. Like a dragoon, he dives towards Freminet once more, chaos spear before him.]

[With that opening on the wall, Freminet took a step back before throwing Pers up in the air. He really didn't want to hurt his penguin but he had no choice. Suddenly, a timer was heard before he continued to make a floor of ice on the ground. In doing so, he hoped it would make him slip with his speed.

At the same time, he was getting ready for a powerful attack as prepared himself.]

[His eyes follow the strange penguin object Freminet tosses into the air. Heading towards him, his ears picking up a timer sound. As the penguin approaches, Shadow will suddenly disappear in a flash. He reappears again behind it, ignoring the penguin as he continues his descent towards Freminet.

He is within striking range, if there's no response, he will change tactics at the last minute and kick Freminet instead into the section of the wall he had sliced through. If there is a counter response, his chaos spear will swing at him instead.]

[Freminet really wished the ticking would go faster but he had no choice but to wait. As he let Shadow kick him against the wall, he charged forward with throw ice shards his way. He didn't mean to give off a growl. But for a moment, all Freminet could think about was killing the hedgehog before him.]

[Those shards will be met by spears made of energy. They form around Shadow and being fired back as he navigates through the projectiles. The look in Freminet's eyes, it's different from the child he was fighting a moment ago. Something dark.

Shadow raises his chaos spear to meet Freminet as they advance towards him.]

[He didn't want to fight like this but Father has taught him to always be strong. If your opponent doesn't back down, then he won't either. As he blocks the spear with his sword, the timer started to get louder.

Taking a step back, he rushed toward him before the timer was going on. As he did so, the he slammed his claymore to the ground as the ice spikes got larger to attack Shadow.]

[Shadow lands onto the ice floor. Jets from his shoes coming on as he "skates" slightly above the surface to avoid the incoming ice spikes. The timer is still ticking. There's a number of things that could happen soon, but preparing for one possibility could prove fatal. He has to work with what's present.

As he skates around to Fremi's left, he throws his spear like a javelin in their direction. In the next, he waves his hands, forming more smaller spears around him. Their target is the penguin that was left unattended this whole time.]

[The timer was going to go off soon. Quickly grabbing Pers, he had to do something. In that moment, he decided to hit his penguin and aim it straight at Shadow. He didn't know how much longer this fight will be but he's going to give it everything he's got.

Even now, as Pers is going toward Shadow, he intends to run toward the right to avoid the javelin. He'll attack from there.]

[Shadow is avoiding any contact with the strange penguin. So the spears are being redirected toward it as he blips out of it's way, eyes on Freminet instead. He curls up into a ball as he gains more speed along the ice. He bounces up into the air and will attempt to dive down towards Freminet if there are no other interruptions and counter.]
