Greetings.
My name is Espio. I opted to reach out in this manner to make an offer. In my world, I was part of a detective agency. I would be glad to bring those skills to those in need here, should you have need of one. There are a great many mysteries in this world, after all.
...With that aside, I do have a request of my own. I'm looking to speak to someone who specializes in playing musical instruments. I will be glad to specify in a conversation.

I worked investigations too, back in my world. I'm guessing since you're looking to continue here, you enjoyed it?

We're a type of warrior, one that has specialized skills. Fighting, stealth, spying, that sort of thing. There is a kind of honor that goes with it as well. I have been training since I was very young.

What sort of cases would you guys take?
no subject
Mm, my associate would claim "any job that pays". Though sometimes even then...
no subject
Actually...I have a lot of money I'm not using...I could probably just do that...
[Because Darin's smithy is insanely lucrative and the man never buys anything.]
Anyway, your associate? There's more than just you?
no subject
[help surge has no idea how to handle income NOBODY HE KNOWS DOES]
There usually is. I'm afraid that my fellow detectives are not here.
no subject
[Darin probably. Shouldn't. Just say that?]
[Meh. Someone already tried to kidnap Zelda to get him to turn over his money and that worked out very poorly for them. Plus, he can just make more. Making money isn't hard.]
If that's the case...I may have some things you can investigate. But I'd like to know what your skills are.
no subject
[And look, Espio will work for money, but he'd never rob a guy. Plus, this fellow who is definitely not Sonic seems perfectly nice.]
Primarily, I worked in my agency as their ninja, spy, and stealth specialist. There are few places in which I cannot go.

[Trying to get
betterfriends for his not-son——but also:]
I don't claim to be a master, but I have experience with playing a dutar. Will that suffice?
no subject
A dutar would be interesting to learn to play. Perhaps between that and my shamisen, I could study enough for my goal.
no subject
[What Sherlock busies himself with though is another story entirely...
Also hmm... a shamisen, huh. That's a stringed Inazuman instrument, if he recalls correctly. He's aware that some things do transcend between worlds but its still interesting when it occurs.]
Considering that they're both string instruments, it should not be too hard to pick it up. I haven't had much of a chance to experience the shamisen myself, as its not easy to come by in my world.
no subject
Perhaps by being a master of both, I will be able to work my way toward a standard guitar. I would welcome your input on how to handle a dutar.
no subject
The structure of a dutar is somewhat closer to a guitar compared to a shamisen. [...] Is there a reason why you're intent on mastering the guitar? You do not have to answer if you'd rather keep the reasons private; my own reasoning is that knowing your specific objectives can help in identifying the things that are better for you to focus on.
private;
No no, that's quite all right. I plan on learning specifically the electric guitar so I can teach someone I know. I find the expression of music very freeing and I want to share that with someone that matches their style. I feel as though something like the electric guitar would suit her.
