Greetings.

My name is Espio. I opted to reach out in this manner to make an offer. In my world, I was part of a detective agency. I would be glad to bring those skills to those in need here, should you have need of one. There are a great many mysteries in this world, after all.

...With that aside, I do have a request of my own. I'm looking to speak to someone who specializes in playing musical instruments. I will be glad to specify in a conversation.

Actually...I have a lot of money I'm not using...I could probably just do that...

Oh, okay. Money's no object then. Honestly, I have too much of it and nothing to spend it on.

[Meh. Someone already tried to kidnap Zelda to get him to turn over his money and that worked out very poorly for them. Plus, he can just make more. Making money isn't hard.]

If that's the case...I may have some things you can investigate. But I'd like to know what your skills are.

I would advise caution in admitting that openly. Some people might see that as an opportunity.

[And look, Espio will work for money, but he'd never rob a guy. Plus, this fellow who is definitely not Sonic seems perfectly nice.]

Primarily, I worked in my agency as their ninja, spy, and stealth specialist. There are few places in which I cannot go.

I spy and stealth specialist, huh? Sounds like you've got an eye for detail. I might actually have a few jobs for you!

First off, I run a smithy on Eltrut. The Starmetal Forge. I'm always on the lookout for rare materials. Magical ore, elemental gems, hell, even monster parts. There's some creatures with bones and hide better than steel out there.

Now, I don't expect you to go out and hunt the native wildlife. If anything, I'd like it if you sourced that stuff in a sustainable way. Monsters already felled by the natural food chain and the like.

But if you hear of any poachers or anything like that, you let me know too. Anything you bring back, I'll pay double the asking price.

Other than that, I'd prefer to talk in person. This other job's a bit more personal.

Best place to find me is at the Forge. I’m here most days. But you’ll find me aboard The Seventh Heroine when she’s docked. She’s the ship I maintain and serve on.

I’m at the forge now if you’re free. The weather’s heating up and people are more interested in sun and surf and try as I might, I haven’t been able to forge a decent surfboard.
