[Today, Azul Ashengrotto appears on camera, smiling brightly. In fact, he seems to be in a much better mood than he has been for the past month or so, given the good cheer in his tone that accompanies his words when he speaks.]

Hello everyone, this is Azul Ashengrotto speaking. For those who do not know me yet, I'm a mage capable of crafting potions and spells, among various other unique skills to help any unfortunate souls in pain or need. I would like take this time to announce some exciting news regarding my business, the Mostro Lounge: as of today, I not only have my shop available to come and commission me for your magic needs, but the Lounge itself is now available for those who wish to pay a visit!

[He moves the camera now, showing the inside of the Lounge side: it almost looks like a night club, with deep purple hues with the walls and decorations. Azul appears to be sitting at a bar counter, and as the camera moves, viewers will be able to see tables and chairs, a bookcase that appears to have board games instead of books, as well as what looks like a small stage set up for musicians or other performers as Azul speaks.]

Consider this a place to come and relax, or for taking part in games to play as I have been considering establishing a game club of sorts for board games and the like. Anyone who wants to put on a performance or some type of entertainment may also use the stage for playing instruments or having talent shows of some kind if desired. I will accept any offers for those who want to do just a simple event once in a while or make a regular job out of performing for the Lounge: just let me know what works best for you.

[Azul brings the camera back around to face himself again.]

Speaking of which, in addition to entertainment, I am currently hiring anyone looking for work in general. I would appreciate any offers for helping with upkeep at our business, whether that be keeping the Lounge clean, serving drinks, working the front desk, or so on. This also goes for anyone who may be able to help with my shop, as I will still be accepting offers for my other business of making and selling products, magic-based or otherwise. If there is anyone who would like to assist with deliveries to customers that are unable to come directly to the Lounge, it would most certainly be appreciated.

There is currently no deadline for hires. If you are interested in a job position, send me a message and I will set up an appointment for a job interview in my office here to go over the hiring process.

As for those who are looking to come and visit the Lounge, you will need to pay for any drinks ordered, or for attendance to any special events that are planned so that the performers are paid properly for their work, as well as assisting with keeping the business running. I'm sure you understand, yes? Otherwise, there is no entry fee at this time to come in and hang out with your friends or play with any of the games provided. As for business hours for when we are open, I am still working on that since I will need to come up with a schedule that best fits any prospective employees, but I myself should be available between the hours of 8am at the earliest, and 11pm at the latest for the time being. If you have any other questions about the Lounge, or if you need my services for anything else in general, please do not hesitate to ask!

[Happy to hear that, really. The fact that Kaveh has so much passion for it is why Azul trusted him with this task, knowing he would help make this a place that looks perfect aesthetically and practically for Azul's needs as a result.]

Really? What kind of style or themes are you normally used to working with instead, Kaveh-san?

[Oh no Azul. You activated him.]

Sumeran architecture has two distinct classes of styles, from the desert and from the rainforest people. Now, most of my commissioned work is for the forest, but I do still do a fair amount of work there, and try to keep in mind what I learn from their designs.

In the forest, there's an emphasis on the natural word, as befitting the nation of Dendro. The walls use the natural colors of the white stone and mortar, with wooden rooves and roof tiles. Archways are the most popular form of entryway, and you'll see pointed arch shapes repeated even in windows. Aside from those arches, buildings are often rounded, to save space in the smaller city plots, and that style just kind of took over even in places where there's more room to grow.

In the buildings in the city, roof sections layer over one another to provide more stability, and create the illusion of large petals or leaves. In Ghandarva Ville, where most buildings are right in the trees themselves, the buildings are made entirely of wood and use leaf-thatched rooves to reduce weight. For the Palace of Alcazarzaray, I wanted to mimic some of that light feeling, so I made the arches wider and rounded them out, while keeping the traditional city silhouette to the roof--

[... Ah. Now he remembers why he did not ask something like this sooner when he had first asked for Kaveh's help with the interior design. He sure likes to talk about this subject quite a lot...]

I see. I'm impressed with your expertise and knowledge on this matter, Kaveh-san.

[Still, he will give the other man the compliment... even if about half of this architectural rambling is a little lost here on Azul, to be honest.]

Ah.

[Kaveh immediately stops, obviously self-conscious and withdrawing his enthusiasm on the spot.]

My apologies. I...don't really recommend anyone get into architectural design if they don't love it, but it...makes me a pretty poor conversationalist, I'm afraid.

No no, it's quite alright. It's good to have something that you're passionate about! In fact, I could probably talk for quite a while about the things that I have a strong interest in, if I had the time to do so.

[But, you know, ever the busy bee... or rather, octopus? You know what we mean.]

A bouncer would indeed be very useful, though I should hope that there will not be any incidents that occur that will require the need for one in this place.

... Oh, actually, the two of us did discuss having a Game Club. How do you feel about helping with running and organizing meet-ups and events for one here at the Lounge?

It seems only appropriate to offer you a leadership role in the club, given your obvious enthusiasm at the prospect here. [Hee hee] I still have yet to decide how to go about acquiring members, or if it should just be large gaming events that would require a monetary charge in order to keep business flowing, but I would appreciate any help and advice you can provide in this regard.

[ She manages to lower her voice a little bit, at least. ]

I dunno about directly charging, but how about donations? Like, you pay for the aspects you want! You want a wider 'library' of games to choose from if you can't bring your own, you donate! And once we get enough interest, we can start holding tournaments - and if people are up for it, they can form a pool of cash for the prize!

Oh, yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea!

Actually, it's a word that can mean "monster" in other languages, so you were not necessarily wrong in that assumption. However, it can also be used to describe something that is impressive or phenomenal, which is the intended meaning I have for the name of my business.

[Even if it's not... inaccurate to say that a monster is running this business, depending on who you ask.]

Admittedly, our current meals are perhaps not as grand as what I had available in my restaurant back home just yet, as I am still determining a menu that works best for everyone's tastes. However, I am also looking for a chef to hire in order to amend that issue. Until then, I guarantee that what we do have to offer will be to everyone's liking.

I think I remember now who this is--he's a hedgehog similar to Shadow-san, isn't he? I think I've only ever spoken to him once before so far, if I recall correctly. I don't believe he and Darin-san are actually related though, despite both of them having an affinity for the color blue.

[Sonic had been asking for advice at the time about getting past his issues with swimming, and Azul had offered at the time to provide swimming lessons, but the other hedgehog ended up never taking him up on that. But as for Darin... pretty sure he's only talked to that particular gentleman once as well, but it was over a rather odd debate about what counted as a "bed" to sleep in?]

[ reel it back surge, this isn't any of his business really. in reality, she's pissed, she's mad, and there's something about a private grudge that gets under her skin. how easy it is to get mad at her boss, if she were face to face with him she would have grabbed the guy by now for his choice of words.

I do not typically deny entry to customers, unless I have evidence that they are a serious danger to others or my business. I prefer seeing for myself what someone is like rather than merely going off of just another person's word about someone's character.

[Something that could be said about Surge and Kit too, honestly. He lives above Kaveh's cafe, so of course he heard that Kaveh is banning the two of them from being allowed in anymore... and yet, he wants to give Surge and Kit a chance to have a place that they are able to feel welcome in by observing their conduct for himself.]

However, I do not wish to force you to deal with his presence, should Sonic-san decide to pay the Lounge a visit, and make you feel uncomfortable. As such... I can consider implementing a rule that he is only welcome on days that you and Kitsunami-san are not working at the Lounge. Either that or reassign you to other tasks so that you never have to come in contact with him in any manner... unless he breaks one of the rules we have regarding proper conduct customers should be adhering to in the Mostro Lounge: then, I will give you permission to go ahead and throw him out to the curb as you wish.

Oh! My apologies, for causing you any concern then. If it helps, I was only asking for someone that might be able to do deliveries to and from the Lounge for us. I do not wish to step on your toes, in a manner of speaking, and run a rival business claiming that we specialize in deliveries or the like. My primary focus is on my magic and products made with it, and on providing a welcoming atmosphere for people who want a club to relax at.
