While I haven't been here too long to know the full story, I have seen there's some invested interest in attempting to locate Elah. My particular gifts make me adept at locating people and things and I have to admit I've felt a bit useless since arriving here.

I'm certain I'm not the only one with an interest in at least trying to look. Which brings me here to ask if anyone else has either started their own search or intends to try looking themselves? It could be beneficial for everyone to know who all is trying.

How good is this gift of yours at finding someone? [Does it require anything or does it just, come naturally?]

I might sound arrogant for saying this, but it's pretty decent. Outside factors can play a role in making it harder, like unfamiliarity.

What would you need to narrow the search? Something of theirs?

Something of theirs can help, or a person close to them. Narrowing down the location can help as well.

...It's possible I may have something, but I want to hear what you've uncovered so far.

At the moment I've only been able to track down traces at the Whalefolk village, but they're exceptionally faint meaning Elah moved on from there some time ago. I can still pick up something faint but it's quite a distance away from there. I've considered just following it out, but I'm not certain how far it goes and even I'm not quite that reckless.

If I could get closer, or at least narrow the search down it might be easier

Paradise?

Something I read. An ocean paradise that was lost to time. Where life would flourish beneath the sea. [Is it tied to Elah, he doesn't know. But there's a chance the whale might be hiding somewhere considered more favorable to it.]

Interesting. Perhaps that's where Elah's tried to go? I can't say I would blame them for trying to escape to somewhere better than what's been happening here.

Perhaps. Perhaps it's only a myth. [Could be nothing more than a wild goose chase, but this world has a way of throwing unexpected surprises. If the obvious route uncovers nothing, then you're left with the impossible.]

The repeated description I found, was that the area was always full of marine life, the weather always fair.

In my experience there's always some truth to every myth. [ Though sometimes the truth is barely anything at all. ]

That feels like quite the vague description.

You have anything else to work with? [It is something. But also Shadow, the ocean is vast, pls.]

A bit. There's quite a lot out there but what I've narrowed down so far indicates Elah left from the Whalefolk village quite a bit ago. There's still traces of them there, but they're faint and indicate they've already traveled a great distance. It's somewhat surprising something so large can clearly move so quickly.

From there, I've picked up on similar things others have. That there's talk of an area that Elah frequents with temperate weather and open ocean with no islands around. The less people around the better, I suppose? I believe a few people thought of them like warm spots, perhaps for a vacation. I haven't quite narrowed it down further than that yet.
