Subject: Elah Search?
Warnings: idk shouldn't be any

While I haven't been here too long to know the full story, I have seen there's some invested interest in attempting to locate Elah. My particular gifts make me adept at locating people and things and I have to admit I've felt a bit useless since arriving here.

I'm certain I'm not the only one with an interest in at least trying to look. Which brings me here to ask if anyone else has either started their own search or intends to try looking themselves? It could be beneficial for everyone to know who all is trying.

[ ooc: feel free to talk to each other too here! just though it'd be a good kick off point for people going about with trying to find thing or who already have found things themselves. ]

My friend and I are both familiar with healing magicks. I'm fine.

As for Elah, I would not presume to guess at its intentions. That island may simply happen to have been on its path.

There WAS what looked to be a merchant vessel beached upon the shore when we first sighted the island. The crew had been consumed by the inhabitants, I assume. We saw nothing resembling men there.

Who knows? I find it difficult to believe that a merchant ship, of all things, would sail the ocean looking for uncharted lands or an errant whale. They were not equipped for such a journey so I'm inclined to believe it was poor luck.
emet_sulk: (18 well you'll be fine)

hurk sorry, busy week

Ah, you must be new then. I was a part of that mess. On the victims' side, I might add. Not the poaching side. Apparently they didn't like that I tried to interrupt their whaling operations. I was nearly turned into a statue myself for my trouble.

My apologies, I thought you might have unearthed some new information. But yes, I doubt anyone will dare try the patience of a leviathan again after Elah's destructive fit.
emet_sulk: (55 you see? the light will not be denied)

I would appreciate that. One can't be everywhere at once.

As for those who captured me, I'm sure most of them drowned. I did make sure to take out the few I encountered during my escape though. If any yet survive, well, I'm sure the bounty hunters will claim them soon enough.

I have enough enemies already. I'm not interested in making more. Death only begets more death - as they will discover for themselves soon enough. I am too old and tired to be teaching these lessons to those who refuse to listen.

I neglected to keep count after the first millenium. Mayhap fifteen millennia or so.

[ He knows that it's been slightly more than twelve thousand years after the Sundering of his star (mortals are strangely obsessed with the passage of time) but he hadn't really kept track before then. ]

'Tis easier to visualise the longterm outcomes of actions when one can live to see them through, instead of hoping that a successor will accurately interpret your will. I pity you with your short lives.
