While I haven't been here too long to know the full story, I have seen there's some invested interest in attempting to locate Elah. My particular gifts make me adept at locating people and things and I have to admit I've felt a bit useless since arriving here.

I'm certain I'm not the only one with an interest in at least trying to look. Which brings me here to ask if anyone else has either started their own search or intends to try looking themselves? It could be beneficial for everyone to know who all is trying.

[ ooc: feel free to talk to each other too here! just though it'd be a good kick off point for people going about with trying to find thing or who already have found things themselves. ]

I have been sending out my aircraft to scan the surface of the ocean without much luck. Elah is truly, well-hidden at this point.

What sort of gifts are you able to use to help?

That might be a good indication that Elah's gone to deep waters then.

I can track things utilizing my abilities.

More than likely at this point. And I'm not the greatest at underwater searches.

[Or really going underwater in general.]

But that sounds useful, how do they work?

They're certainly not easy searches in my experience.

In essence most sentiment beings have a sort of signature that's unique to them, something that 'feels' like them. If I can locate that I can usually follow it.

And is there anything you would need to be able to do that? Or would makenit easier?

Familiarity can help. As well as a way to narrow down where to scan.

How familiar do you have to be with what you're looking for?

As for narrowing down where to scan, I'm guessing that you've already investigated where Elah had been last before disappearing.

I suppose you could say it's a scale, the easier it is.

Did you manage to turn up anything, or notice something others might have missed? Im personally behind on the investigations, outside of running scouting planes.

Everyone and everything is unique in their own way, do I've rarely had problems tracking things even if I don't know them well. But if I am very familiar with them it's a lot easier.


I don't think I really have so far. I got a sense for the general direction Elah may have gone to but the trail indicates they've traveled a ways since then. If I find out more I can let you know.

I see, so it's a bit like hunting then. The more you know your prey the easier it is for you to track them. Is that right?

But yes, if you could then that would be very helpful. I dont think I can be of much help underwater if they dove deep. But I can certainly help on the surface!

That's actually a fantastic comparison. I used to hunt quite a lot as a child.

Thank you. I'll let you know as soon as I have more information. If I get anything. It seems like we have quite a collection of different people here with a variety of talents. It makes up for what others might not excel at.

I'll do the same as well. It does take a team to run a ship, after all. I take it that you've already been working with others?

True enough. I have a teammate from home that's come with me and I've gotten some advice from others.
