To think, after two whole years apart, my own sister refuses to acknowledge me! I simply wished to spend time with my dear sister! Oh, the humanity..! My dear sister, if you can see this, please reconsider your cruel and coldhearted decision! Your brother misses you so!

[Sure he may have been a little overbearing with her, checking in on her a bit more than was necessary, but he had missed her! Being blocked on the Shellphones was hardly fair, in Lyney's humble opinion! He clearly didn't do a single thing wrong!]

All the more reason why I believe his attempt to contact you in this manner would probably antagonize you rather than convince you to rectify whatever is going on between you two.

also, my brother is making this to be a much bigger deal than it is. there’s nothing to rectify except for maybe his ego.

On the topic of cake, I know I am a stranger and this is rather random, but would he be terribly opposed to be given a cake rather than buying one?

Actually, a small one. They aren't very attractive cakes, but I have been told that they are edible.

a cake does not need to be pretty to be delicious. and the more you practice, the better they will look.

This is true, yes, but that also means I ended up with far more cakes than one can eat on their own.
