To think, after two whole years apart, my own sister refuses to acknowledge me! I simply wished to spend time with my dear sister! Oh, the humanity..! My dear sister, if you can see this, please reconsider your cruel and coldhearted decision! Your brother misses you so!

[Sure he may have been a little overbearing with her, checking in on her a bit more than was necessary, but he had missed her! Being blocked on the Shellphones was hardly fair, in Lyney's humble opinion! He clearly didn't do a single thing wrong!]

[...Okay no he may have been quite annoying and irritating to his introverted sister and pushed her to block him because of his overbearing-ness, but like hell is he admitting that.]

My brother Mycroft is ten years my senior. He is not present in this world, and for that, I am grateful.

[ Even if he has his moments of childishly wanting his big brother to help or comfort him... which is absurd because Mycroft wouldn't do that even if he was here. ]

[ Understandable feeling, and also that makes me sad to read. Poor Sherry. :( ]

Sherry just wants a brother but Mycroft is stuck in angry disappointed dad mode

Worse. Lyney at least cares about you. Mycroft... cares only for himself, the Queen, and the country. If I don't fit into what he wants me to be, then I am nothing more than a nuisance and madman that he's burdened with.

[ The brothers haven't spoken since Sherlock's case ended, and Mycroft is not one to apologize even when faced with evidence that he's done his little brother a lot of harm, unintentionally but still harmed. ]

that's incredibly unfortunate. i don't know what i would have done if lyney were that way.

[ He's the reason they survived before arriving at the House of the Hearth. She was too timid back then and spent more time hiding behind him than anything else. ]

for what it's worth, you don't strike me as a nuisance or madman at all.

Maybe someday they'll be proper Holmes Brothers

[ Not only because it is an awful feeling but because that mean something had caused Lyney to drastically change. ]

I try not to let Mycroft dictate how I live my life.

[ Doesn't stop Sherlock from wishing he had Mycroft's approval and praise though. Little brother does want Big Brother to be proud of him sometimes. 8( ]
