[So, what comes up on the network isn't actually any words, but a picture. A big, obnoxious picture, with some text superimposed upon it. The picture is then followed by several others, all depicting a similar theme, and similar motif:]

To think, after two whole years apart, my own sister refuses to acknowledge me! I simply wished to spend time with my dear sister! Oh, the humanity..! My dear sister, if you can see this, please reconsider your cruel and coldhearted decision! Your brother misses you so!

[Sure he may have been a little overbearing with her, checking in on her a bit more than was necessary, but he had missed her! Being blocked on the Shellphones was hardly fair, in Lyney's humble opinion! He clearly didn't do a single thing wrong!]

[...Okay no he may have been quite annoying and irritating to his introverted sister and pushed her to block him because of his overbearing-ness, but like hell is he admitting that.]

'Twould be nice to be able to explore theories with other minds, even if I am slow. I can't help but be curious. About this place. About the people I have met here, and may yet meet. Their talents. Their passions. Their troubles.

I've never heard of stage magick before, for example. Have you developed spells specifically for performances?

You sound like you're of a curious mind, indeed! I may not be much of a scholat myself, but I can certainly introduce you to a couple. And wanting to learn more about others, well... something like that is always a curiosity, isn't it?

[Even if for Lyney, learning those things isn't always for altruistic reasons; sometimes he needs to learn about people and how they operate as part of his missions. But he can see the idealism there.]

Oh, you haven't? Why, it's actually a specialty of mine! You see, where I'm from, not everyone can perform magic or cast spells, so I offer them a little glimpse of something extraordinary to liven up their lives.

[As he speaks, he moves his hand and flicks it; from it, a card appears, and with another flick it fans out into five. He flicks the cards in between his fingers, making them appear and disappear quickly before he suddenly snaps his fingers. When he does, all the cards suddenly burst into colourful sparks around him. Small stuff for someone who's probably much more skilled in magic, but it's definitely a spectacle that would captivate an audience.]

[The finish may be small, but Erichthonios finds himself utterly captivated by how quick the boy's hands are.]

So nimble! Your dexterity is very impressive.

Why thank you! I've worked quite hard at honing these skills for quite some time.

[He even does a little trick with his hat, flicking it around and hovering it over his finger before replacing it. Was that a cat that briefly popped out of his hat? It's gone before one could even question it.]

Now that my sister is here, perhaps we can perform some of our shows for people in earnest now! You're welcome to come watch us if we do.

[Is that a familiar? That looked like a familiar. Alas, 'tis secreted away as quickly as it appeared, and video transmissions are not precisely conducive to sensing aetherial patterns.]

I think I would like that.

[He may as well try a new experience or two while he is here... right? And he's been invited, so surely it woupdn't be an imposition...]

Very well then! Once Lyney and Lynette's Magic Show is ready for an audience, I'll be sure to ensure you get a front row seat!

[Perhaps he's boasting a bit, but now that Lynette is here, he's feeling much more motivated to actually do a full performance now. Maybe even open up a little theatre on Eltrut for their more elaborate tricks.]

Ah, that is, once she deigns to speak to me again. Alas... I suppose I'll have to wait for her to be in a better mood.

I am sure she will be in time. Even my father and I argue only for so long.

[He does, however, sincerely hope they never become like his father and him.]

Though I daresay an apology might make things easier. You did publicly accuse her of being cold-hearted towards you.

Mayhap you could bring her one of her favorite snacks?

Ah, I suppose you have a point.

[He sighs, rubbing at his chin with one hand. He does look a little more sheepish than before.]

I think that's a good idea. There's a bakery not far from here that has excellent pastries. Perhaps I'll make a stop there for her before going to apologize.

[Yes, good. He approves.]

You'd best be going then. Better to smooth things over sooner rather than later, yes?

I suppose so.
