[There was a loud purring, Dapplewhisker's face and the pokémon inspired catnip toy she had in her mouth. Turo moved the phone back to show that the large cat was draped over his shoulders; with of course Mariposa -with a few of her pups that were still with them- running around, following in behind Dojima there in the background as the man was gathering a few last small items into a box.

The room was... empty, walls bare.]

Ah, I just wanted to make a quick little announcement for those of you familiar with the apartment where Dojima and I have been living—we will no longer be found here.

We are actually moving, as you can probably see and guess, to a house. It will be closer to Cosmo Conservatory for ease of travel, given how much time is spent there between us as is. A much bigger space as well, which will be nice.

I suppose many people take moving in together as a step in preparation, so it is something of a pattern indeed. I will admit we were living together to some degree even before we were together as well.

Simply fell into place like that when we met.

No, I do not think it is the aspect of moving in together, though it is one factor. Others have been previously inhabited the same space, but it is some involvement of a post itself.

[It was easy to peer through the doorway of the apartment, towards where Dojima still was. Take in the entire picture; so much fondness there, even if it was kept out of Turo's tone—]

Many factors that still have a more distinct pattern due to more common details—still, knowing what I do of the man, I do not really expect any proposal for marriage any time soon- if at all, really.

[That level of commitment was not something he could say was something Dojima could give to him. Not with what had needed to be dealt with through the beginning, what still would always be held in the man's mind and worry simply there due to the culture he was brought up and lived in.

... What was, where they were, was enough.]

As nice as the thought is, but do not get me wrong as there is no unhappiness between us. I know the lengths he will go to for me, and the amount of affection there.

Yes, that affection is apparent from recent events.

[ Dojima's feelings were very apparent, and being more familiar with Turo, Sherlock could easily see them returned.

Also, why can't Turo be the one to propose? They are both men, so surely any idea of what is "traditional" is already obsolete. ]

If you are both happy, then that is what matters most. That said, do not take it for granted. This world does allow for certain opportunities which are otherwise not possible in our home worlds. You may find yourself wishing for something you cannot have.

[ The pining Victorian detective isn't speaking from experience. No. Don't be silly. ]

[The extent he knew that man would go, the amused and affectionate sound clear in agreement even if it was wordless.]

There are certain reasons I know that... very well, but the words are nevertheless appreciated. A reminder does not ever hurt given it is so easy to still find oneself falling into familiar steps. [So much that he would never see again for himself, only ever have the memories. Regrets that were not exactly his but he knew the thoughts and feelings for.

Remaining happy with what he had managed to find and create for himself here, while giving Dojima his place to help his comfort in... accepting things for himself he still carried fears and worry for. Why the thought of marriage and proposal were something Turo wouldn't reach for; Dojima was more comfortable given control of certain things, and he would rather he have that comfort after stepping up in other places. The efforts made, that he made in turn...]

He makes me very happy, and he shows I do the same for him in many ways.

[ Sherlock has said his piece, so he won't push any further. Besides, while he works with Turo a lot, he doesn't know a whole lot about the man. Even less about Dojima.

He still expects a marriage announcement in the future. The pattern is just too strong. ]

How soon do you think you'll be settled into your new place? Do we need to cover for you at the Conservatory?

Just a few weeks, at the very least. I should be able to come by still, given the cottage is much closer than the apartment we'd been sharing.

A little routine kept to help the creatures that live with us to adjust to a new home better is my hope, of course. I do appreciate your asking of course—if it were somewhere further away I would see a need, but for now there shouldn't be much disruption.

[He and Dojima were still partly staying at Cosmo, so that helped as well.]
