[There was a loud purring, Dapplewhisker's face and the pokémon inspired catnip toy she had in her mouth. Turo moved the phone back to show that the large cat was draped over his shoulders; with of course Mariposa -with a few of her pups that were still with them- running around, following in behind Dojima there in the background as the man was gathering a few last small items into a box.

The room was... empty, walls bare.]

Ah, I just wanted to make a quick little announcement for those of you familiar with the apartment where Dojima and I have been living—we will no longer be found here.

We are actually moving, as you can probably see and guess, to a house. It will be closer to Cosmo Conservatory for ease of travel, given how much time is spent there between us as is. A much bigger space as well, which will be nice.

Sounds like a good plan. You cook, too?

[ Mostly idle curiosity, but it is something he's been finding more time to turn into an actual hobby here. ]

I'm learning how to, and I found a teacher in the owner of The Garden, as he learned why I often visited for take-out.

[Nothing like being hoisted over the counter by a large bull folk to then be carried into the kitchen, really.]

Nice of him to offer. I've known well enough for a while... but I've had more time here. And more need.

It was, and so far the lessons have been fairing well enough; I can make a gyoza well enough to be restaurant quality now. I never truly had the time for it where I am from, aside from instant ramen and MREs.

[Had been fairly enjoyable, and he was getting better with time. Had little to not issue making the dumpling dough.]

Yeah? Wouldn't mind tryin' it sometime. That's not one I've tried to make.

[ But he's been trying to branch out, if only to keep from being bored. ]

I can pack a few away when I come to Cosmo; the lunchbox I have keeps them nice and fresh for a good bit of time.

[Even if he learned to make them for Dojima, it had certainly gave him confidence to learn other recipes. Still taking his time, of course.]

If you want. I can always bring you somethin', too.

[ Seems only fair... and cooking for people is an easy enough way to show affection, after all. ]

As you said, if you want to. I've a habit of trying to ensure those there are kept well fed; reason for all of the snacks in the 'break rooms' I've helped incorporate for those who volunteer their time or work with Cosmo more 'full time' as it were.

This would be something a bit more personal, I imagine.

A little. But I do appreciate all the snacks. Won't pretend I'm not one of the people goin' through 'em.

[ Which... is what they're there for, but he's still a touch unused to things just being freely available. ]

I do hope it is a good amount of both savory and sweet to choose from, from baked goods to more 'snackable' items.

[Varying degrees of 'healthy', but still.]

Seems good to me, but I'm partial to the sweets so I'm probably a little biased.

[ He doesn't care too much about 'healthy' right now, even if he used to. ]

When it comes to food I see no reason for a bias to be present—we all have our preferences and likes, even I do when it comes to certain tastes.

That's true enough, I'd be surprised if it wasn't the case for everyone.

[ Then again, he supposes he has no idea what's normal for the sort of thing that Turo is. ]
