Master Emet-Selch, I did not struggle through decades of emotional distress holding on to the desire to help others just to turn around and condemn them all.

And if Hermes -- or Venat, or my father -- arrive here, I expect to be informed because I have words for all of them.

Hmm, I worry it may attack something behaving in an unusual way, but we may as well try it.

[ He flicks a finger and one of the apples floats up. Then gently bobs its way over to the horse with another flick. The creature looks up and watches the apple approach warily...

The hand-horn slaps it out of the air on to the ground. The horse circles it like a predator studying its prey...before finally deigning to take a chomp. ]
