Many people come here looking for a way back to their world and I cannot blame them. The idea of mysterious rifts controlling when we come and go... it's more than one can take. Should take, even.
But if it's not asking too much, I'd like to seek out a differing opinion:
If you had the choice to leave this place, would you stay instead? Why?

This world isn't perfect, but it's kinder than the one I come from. And almost all of the people I care for are here.
