Many people come here looking for a way back to their world and I cannot blame them. The idea of mysterious rifts controlling when we come and go... it's more than one can take. Should take, even.
But if it's not asking too much, I'd like to seek out a differing opinion:
If you had the choice to leave this place, would you stay instead? Why?

If there is even the smallest chance of my being able to, I must do what I can to aid my star. And... even if I cannot do anything, I couldn't bear to leave the people I care about to suffer. Even if I can only be near them in reincarnation, as a mere fragment of my being...
I must do something. I must try.
